I teamed with a TL just today. I didn't pay attention to synergy really, but when I got a CG a boomerang came from behind and hit me... fml.
But just for common sense: Killing potential could be troublesome. But TL can usually juggle really well while I cover the ground game. And yes, lots of projectiles. I rarely shoot lazers... at all no matter who I team with. I'm usually the more patient teammate; I want to be conservative knowing how much Falco gets punished too much when offstage... basically don't get hit. TL is the more aggressive partner.
I also went MK... just spammed nado lol.
