Falco Shine Confusion

So...I've been watching PC Chris for most of my day...and I can't help but notice how he shines and quickly gets out of it by jumping. I tried but it seems like mine is slower. Any help?

1. Dont double post
2. Simply...jump faster. Faster ways are with the control stick or y, but I use x and get out almost immediately. Also if your shine hits a person you have a few more frames before you can jump

Oh...I use Y to SH and use the control stick to double jump if I need it. I see PC like immediately jump after he shines someone. It still confuses me.

Just press jump right after you shine...It really is that simple. Use whatever feels comfortable, unless you were like me, and use every single button on the controller..

lol...dont hit up on the control stick.....-_________________________-..... its harder to shorthop out of a shine by doing that. what you want to do is practice more, and u'll eventually be able to shorthop and full jump out of a shine really fast. i use X to jump.. but it makes absolutely no difference what button u use to jump. (it's all a matter of preference)

Oh yes, and what you need to do is jump immediately out of a shine, or else there is a lag.

So just remember, jump immediately.

oh yeah and dont use the control stick to double jump.. learn to use x and y for that. only use the control stick for like.. LHDL's and that sorts. but hell, u can do w/e u want lol

you can do what ever is easier for you. i find that the control stick is easy for me when multi shining... so i'm gonna stick with it

I prefer using the control stick to jump out of a shine .. its allot faster even if u are really fast with the y/x button

because you have less distance between the control stick down / up then between the b and the y

but it will take time before u can sh out of shine with the control stick

multi shine is indeed very easy to do with the control stick

Yeah the control stick is better in every case to Jump Cancel a shine, espicially when you're pillaring if you don't want to get grabbed.

It's also not too hard to short hop out of shine with the control stick, one just have to learn how to flick with it.

I perfer Y with shine canceling cuZ theres more than 1 way to Short Hop with it. (and x) You can press it hard and fast, or just soft and light. So when the fight is intense i tend to press harder so i can still do it easy, and when the fight just started or its a lil slow i can tap it and it STILL works. Y is sexy. Analog isint =[.

I'm not sure what you mean, you can do the exact same thing with the analog stick (although I don't see the reason to short hop in two different ways). Analog is by far the sexier one, try mid air shine -> bair and see how hard it is with y =(.

Eehm using to kinds of jumps is better then using 1
When u only use the control stick its harder to do a running shffl.. the y is better for that move but when u are close and start to shine combo its faster with the control stick.

But when u have chase your opponent its better to switch to the y button
