marff
I don't really think of falco as a real team character, he's more of a "I'm going to grab you and **** you" than a "I'm going to grab you and **** you and then hold you so my friend can **** you too". Unless it's marth, of course. his mid-range compliments falco's short range, and falco's only short-range in teams, because if you fire a lazer in teams, theres a 70% chance that you're going to hit your friend
in summary, he doesn't play offensively or defensively, and it's awkward to try to define him as one or another, which is something you need to do in teams. the only person who i've seen play well with him is marth, unless you're forward and taj, in which case you can play flaco and fox, but chances are you're not, and that's not a good idea.
bonus points I'm thinking of before pressing reply:
I don't think falcon works well with falco because they're both offensive close-range characters, so if you're fighting anyone with long-range capabilitys, then you're ****ed, but there's the chance they could play double falcon/sheik/someone who's going to be completely ****ed over by lazers, then godspeed, go for falcon and falco
I don't think fox goes well with fox because they're oposite playstyles. Fox is "i'm going to grab you and shine you untill your teammate saves you, but if he doesn't, you're going to die quick and usmashy"
while falco is " I'm going to try to give you a hug and try to soak as much damage damage into you so my teammate can kill you"
I say the teammate needs to get the kill because this tends to be a stock with falco:
Start out with lazers untill you can find the shine combo, and when that's done, work him with lazers and whatever glancing blows you can get untill he's at 80% ish, and then go for a kill move (shine to bair, fsmash, excessive dairing)
If you skip the lazers, you only can get an oponent to 70ish percent, and that's even tricky with 3 other people on the field.
Finally, The 2 (I thought up another and decided i'm too lazy to go back and edit) characters who can team with falco would be marth and peach. Peach can use dsmash to spread oponents so falco can go in with the dair or kill move, and peach has turnips, being one of the few stable projectiles in teams. Marff is good for doing what marth does in teams, and if you don't know what that is, go watch some blue groom
sorry if this is repetitive, it's late and i'm tired, so there's a good chance all of this is either a really bad idea or all giberish.
