You guys, my left eye experiences intense pain the moment I get water in my left eye. Does anyone know of anything that might be wrong with me?

Also, it hurts the most to even blink. It would help...I've been looking into it for awhile and have found nothing.

And no, I didn't go to the doctor; which I should.

Could it be that you're a vampire, and the water you got in your eye was holy water?

Other than that, I'd say go to the doctor. They're usually pretty knowledgeable about that kind of stuff.

Pain in the eye (that is not due to injury) may be described as a burning, throbbing, aching, or stabbing sensation in or around the eye.
(source http://www.healthcentral.com/ency/408/003032.html)

Common Causes of this type of Pain Include
eye Infection (you'll need to see a doctor if this is the case)
Sinus Problems
Migraines
Contact Lense Related Problems
A Stye (which a bump growing under the eyelid) since it hurts when you blink, i think this one is most likely. redness on the skin of around your eyelid could also be a symptom of this (source http://www.healthcentral.com/ency/408/001009.html)
A rare strain of Glaucoma can also cause intense pain, (if your peripheral vision is just fine, it probably isn't this)

Anyway, I've also got a bunch of home remedy bumps to take care of I'll ness with out consulting a doctor.

Anyway, if you can describe the type of pain you are having I can more effectively search for a remedy, but most of the things I can think of at the time may require a visit to a professional

If you wear contacts, maybe take them out for a while, maybe a few days, and let them heal?

I most recommend seeing a doctor.

A stye is caused by bacteria from the skin that get into the hair follicle of the eyelash. Hair follicles contain oil glands that become inflamed from the bacteria. Styes are similar to common acne pimples that occur elsewhere on the skin. You may have more than one stye at the same time.

Styes usually develop over a few days and may drain and heal on their own. A stye can become a chalazion -- this is when an inflamed oil gland becomes fully blocked. If a chalazion gets large enough, it can cause trouble with your vision.

If you have blepharitis (see eye redness), you are more likely to get styes.

Other possible eyelid bumps include:

* Xanthelasma -- raised yellow patches on your eyelids that can happen with age. These are harmless, although they are occasionally a sign of high cholesterol.
* Papillomas -- pink or skin colored bumps. They are harmless, but can slowly grow, affect your vision, or bother you for cosmetic reasons. If so, they can be surgically removed.
* Cysts -- small fluid-filled sacs that can affect your vision.
If it is a stye, keep watching it, in most cases they'll go away on thier own, but there is a small chance that it could be serious, here is a link to a site that tells you how to treat the stye.

http://firstaid.webmd.com/sty_treatment_firstaid.htm

anyway it says

firstaid.webmd.com said:
Most styes go away on their own in 5-7 days.

* Apply warm compresses 4-6 times a day for about 15 minutes at a time to help the drainage. Keep your eyes closed.

* Gently scrub the eyelid with tap water or with a mild, nonirritating soap or shampoo (such as baby shampoo). This may help with drainage. Close your eyes as you scrub so you do not injure your eyes.

* Do not squeeze or puncture the sty. A more serious infection may occur as a result.

* Discontinue the use of eye makeup as well as eye lotions and creams because they may be infected.

* Discontinue wearing your contact lenses because the sty may cause an infection to spread to your cornea with the continued use of your contact lenses.
Anyway, this this seems like what it is, then great, if not, try to describe as much as you can about your problems.

Better yet, don't get medical advice from people on a video game forum or a web site.

If it's that bad, see a doctor.

Go to the doctor. I have a persistent blind sport that moves suddenly across my eye, it was some bumps under my eye that required some serious drops. Another time, my eye was burning like crazy, some said pink eye, which I thought just young kids got, and others said it couldn't be. Sure enough, pink eye.

Go to the eye doctor ASAP.

EDIT: I DO NOT WEAR CONTACTS; that is all.

EDIT AGAIN: IT'S ONLY A BURNING FEELING; that is all...again. I MEAN STINGING/BURNING...hopefully that is all.

When you shower? Possibly getting soap or shampoo into your eyes?

...No.

Well, I don't get soap/shampoo in my eyes, and the stinging stays for 10-20 minutes after.

Pink Eye? Idk...
Then again, never mind, because pink eye would be constant itching, and most likely not a burning sensation....
Yeah, just go see the doctor.

Argh, it's so hard to describe. It's like pain/burn/sting ...

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Edit: Nevermind; I'll just consult an optometrist.

Hmm, this happens to me sometimes when I shower too, but I think it may just because you're getting water/soap in your eyes. It doesn't sound too serious, but I'd still consult a professional

I'm telling you guys, I don't have to use shampoo or soap for it to hurt. It's even when I'm just washing my face. Whatever; D;

Can a mod close this thread? :]
