yeah seems a bit odd, but all it really is is that 2 relatively disjointed hitboxes collided

All of King Dedede's smashes have transcended priority (anything that doesn't outrange them will be outprioritized), and Yoshi's fsmash extends his hurtbox along with it, even when the animation doesn't show it. Nothing to see here.
