I just recorded a lot of matches with `EX these last two weeks. I have even more matches on another tape. I'll upload them when I stop feeling lazy.

*WARNING: CONTROLLER JOHNS AHEAD!*

As I play against `EX, my controller continues to get worse and worse, and as such, I play worse as time goes on. There are times where I will attempt to approach IC, but my character will just stop in his tracks. I lose a stock shortly after. Also tech skill, even just the ability to short hop lessens as time goes by, since the jump buttons are stuck, and up on the analog stick is unresponsive at times.

*End controller johns.*

If your mistakes are because of a controller, I'd rather not waste time critiqing and pointing them out, go out do some chores for people, earn $15 and buy a new one, then upload some more vids and we will talk.

Used controllers are 25$. New controllers are in the 30$ area.

Why don't you be a pal and buy me a controller and send it to me?

I won't really give any matchup critiques or advice... let me just start by saying that you should master wavedashing; practice controlling the lengths of them, as well as doing them left and right. Matchup advice won't help much until you can really execute it. Once you wavedash well, start using wavedashes into grabs, smashes, tilts and jabbing. Also practice mixing dash-dances with wavedashes until you move fluidly; moving well is probably the most important thing in competitive Smash.

IIRC `Ex, you were having a bit of trouble with charging grab smashes. If you grab at a percent where the opponent will be KO'ed by an ordinary smash without any charge (Falco at 120 on Yoshi's Story, for instance), you can just wait for a moment, then c-stick forward. You'll start f-throwing but Nana will smash and cut it short, eliminating a lot of potential for technical failure.

But yeah, master wavedashing, short hopping, l-canceling, dash-dancing and shield grabbing. I recommend practicing each day for about 20 minutes in training mode just moving around without attacking. You'll probably make mistakes when you actually play, but then go back and practice, then play, then practice, then play, and the two will start working together and really congeal.

Then I want to see some new videos :)

just prsctice dash dancing and try not to rush your next wave dash with icy's keep practing that and then after a while u will be able to move around more fluid ..i think that was your biggest prob, but besides that keep it up and dont get discouraged..icy's are god tier
