Serebii has a list on each pokemon's pokedex entry. That is the total EXP needed to reach level 100. At least, methinks.

I already tried there, in fact I go there all the time!
Problem is you can't search for pokemon with only Erratic
exp growth.:(

In general, Pokemon that do not evolve have a lower Experience limit. Final evolutions and powerful pokemon like Legendaries tend to have the higher Experience limits. Serebii actually does tell you how much for every pokemon. You have to search in their pokedex the specific pokemon you want, and look at their stats like Egg Hatch count and Base Stats. Somewhere in there it will tell you the Experience needed.

Hah, hardly the rule at all.

Bar legends, Psedolegends, and early-game pokemon (including starters), there really isn't much of a pattern. Stuff like Seviper have Legendary Pokemon-esque needs to level up, while Erratic Pokemon (can't name one off the top of my head, sorry) pop out of the blue here and there in the dex for no reason.

Final evolutions ... tend to have the higher Experience limits.
This was either poorly worded, or you are no aware that every stage of a Pokemon requires the same amount of experience to level up, if they changed the experience every evolution, then their level would change when they evolved, seeing as purely experience points determine level, nothing else.

With the exception of Mew, Celebi, Jirachi (?), and Manaphy (?) of course

Their are very few erratic pokemon. Latias/Latios/Milotic are the only three I can think of.
