yeah, i have to agree, it seems more and more people are posting here too, so we might as well fully switch. its kind of hard to follow a conversation if it gets passed between threads.

That would be awesome if we got wsu to come too!

We have a long way to go before we have more posts than the bi-weeklys thread.

Yeah I talked to RC and he said I should post on this facebook group so I did... I hope most or at least some of them come ^_^

Also, Tommy said that he and Timmy may try to come.

I know, he was the guy with the hat and the suitcase as if he was moving. But isnt that the only tournament he went to and like only two guys on here are friends with him? So I'm just wondering if he meant he hardcore smashed with 1-2 friends >_>

No need to be a total tool to him, Jem. Him not being at the same skill level as you in a video game and not attending as many publics gatherings for said videogames does not mean he should be treated with a lower level of respect. I realize he may or may not have acted like a **** at whatever tournament you had met him at, but seriously, base your opinion of him off of what he acts like in present time. He's done nothing but try to be friendly and change his reputation among the WA smash community since the summer and defacing him in front of everyone else here is not only a slap in the face to him but simply makes you look immature. That post in no way warranted your response.

You make it seem like I insulted him, and I clearly didnt. I asked how/who is he hardcore smashing with. You must be a butt buddy of his though.

It's glaringly obvious to anyone who has enough common sense to read context that your initial comment was an effort to taunt him, knowing that he did poorly at the one tournament you saw him go to. What other reason would you have had to quote him an entire page after his post? Can you honestly say with a straight face you care about what he's been doing in the smash scene for any other reason than to make fun of him for it?

Also, that butt buddy comment effectively ruined any chance of your comeback's validity AND cemented the immaturity notion, righteous. ;)

Lol, backed into a corner and forced into petty insults for lack of an argument. I'd nitpick through every possible word and/or phrase in your last few posts that would indicate what I said to be true, but I'll leave that to the mentally capable readers of Smashboards to decipher.

Also, I'm afraid he's out of town till Sunday, so he won't be answering your question any time soon, but I'll be glad to stay here and point out the fallacies in your argument(s) if you'd enjoy.

Stop arguing, whorebags.

Jem, Robotnik did act like a complete jerk off last summer, but at the Brawl tourney last month he was completely different and didn't come off like such a douche.

Valdens, you used tool in the wrong context and you should probably put your thesaurus away because it only makes you sound silly. Stick with a basic vocabulary that isn't meant to condescend and we all won't seem like idiots.

Not that I case about the argument any longer, but how did I use tool in the wrong fashion?

5. Vulgar Slang. A *****.

Wouldn't it be the same as saying
No need to be a total **** to him, Jem.

Because you use the word tool when referring to a ***** in a context like this one:

brdy said:
Then she put her mouth on my tool.
When one calls another a "tool," usually they are not calling them a *****. A **** (slang for a big jerk) and a ***** (what's in my pants) are two different things. Essentially you said:

Unless you think Jem. is a literal ***** (meaning genitals, stupid filter), it should now be clear why and how you used "tool" in the wrong context.

When someone uses the word "tool" (correctly) to describe another, the namecaller means the person is easily manipulated, naive or ignorant. Therefore, saying Jem was being a tool to Robotnik doesn't make any sense at all. If you're going to call him a name you could call him a ****, *******, jerk, *******, ********, or something to that effect. Here's an example of the proper use of the term "tool":

Anyone reading this thread said:
Wow, these dudes who are arguing about the definition of the word "tool" are serious tools.

I'm not making it a big deal, I was just pointing it out to him so he doesn't sound like a tool.

In that case, Jem is a wiener. Am I doing it right?
