I didn't even mean to! I used it for the flying gym and BAM it was like 4-6 levels above all my other pokemon so I just stuck with it haha

Just beat the 8th Gym Leader.

So yeah, that's my team. A couple of fun facts:
-All are male and are nicknamed after classical composers, though none of them are how the Japanese actually transcribe their names. Bach is particularly bad, since the final sound isn't a hard "k" at all.
-My Pendoraa has some combination of a near-0 HP IV and almost no EVs.
-All were the first catches of this particular species of Pokémon in my game.
-I'll probably replace Take Down with Return and Hidden Power with either Energy Ball or Shadow Ball.
These games are amazing, and I imagine they'll be more so when I can understand the exposition.

Actually, I never did much grinding; the only time that I really remember doing it was before the 5th gym so that I could evolve my Shikijika. It's more like that I know how to abuse the Lucky Egg and not use Repels and not run, battling basically every wild Pokémon that I've seen.
