EV question

Hi, just a quick question that I havent been able to find. How exactly do EVs boost your stats when you level? For instance, 10 carbos gives you 100 speed evs, but you don't get +25 speed the next time you level. Is there a maximum amount of stat increase per level or something?

You get +25 when you get to level 100.

So if you have a lvl 99 poke with no EVs used up and give it 10 carbos it WILL gain 25 in speed when it levels.

It's applied over time. You won't see immediate results.

it balances out on the way to getting at level 100
+ 25 on a level 2 would sound crazy

Well, I ain't the best at these things but I believe you get your big stat increases when you finally peak to the level 100.
