Essential ATs with Snake?

I main Snake and I think im quite good with him.

But I feel like im stuck on the current skill level.


So what would you say are good advanced techniques to learn with Snake.

Are there any must-have ones?

The important ones are no-brainers:

- mortarslide

- grenade cooking, staling, droping

- regaining recovery with C4



But beside that?

mine games. Also a must with Snake.

Mind games/mine games are what make or break a Snake player. Sure, you can learn all his AT's, but it all comes down to mind games. GOOD Snake dittos are always a battle of wits.


Now, for some AT's, sticking C4 on opponents is nice to do on foes who don't move when you D throw them or foes who shield a lot. When launched high into the air, grab a grenade so that when your foe tries to punish you when you land, they get hit.

1. SRP - Stop Rolling Please. This advance technique improves your ability to punish opponents. Instead of entering a rolling animation, you Shield or Spot Dodge.
2. TCFTW - Tech chase For The Win:
Down Throw
Forward Roll ->
-Chase to grab.
-Mortar Slide
-Chase bair/nair. Lawl.
Backwards Roll ->
-Chase to grab
-Forward Smash
-F-Tilt.
Stand and attack ->
-Power Shield + Grab.
-Spot dodge + Grab
-Power Shield + C4
-Spot Shield + C4
-Power Shield + Tilts.
Does not stand ->
-C4 stick.
-Tilts.
-Wait.
3. STWB - Save the Win Button aka Up Tilt for when your opponent is at 115% on average. A Fresh one will kill regardless of DI.
4. SDTJ - Spot dodge to Jab.

Oooh eeeh C-Nikita? Lol, I'm only saying this because I recently discovered it. Buuut it does have potential to get you a few extra KO's if you have enough skill to take advantage of it. If you are interested in it, then check out my C-Nikita thread I made here in the Snake forums. Yeah I think the only thing that pushed me to say this is because I'm a bit selfish and I want more people to take advantage of my tech lol.

Mind giving us more uses of the C Nikita xD I only make the Nikita collide with the edge near my opponent,the explosion knocks them off.

Hey, I found it. It's everyone else's job to find other uses for it. And besides, there's like 2 or 3 uses for it right now posted on my topic.
