You hear Ragnarok yell as he passes by: "... meeeee ouuuuut of thiiiiiis loooooooop you morrooonnnss.....

as raggy comes around a second time, gova expertly flings a penny into ragnaroks mouth.

hope dude doesn't choke... xD

You work together to try and fling jtb into marshy. You however mistime the toss and miss marshy and bardull on their way down. after a couple exhausting tries you eventually hit marshy and bardull and knock them out of the way of the hole in the floor. The hit the floor HARD, but after a lil while of puking uncontrollably, they seem to be fine.

Marshy and bardull can now talk.

ragnarok continues to fall down through the left hole and up through the right hole

@Macman - So, imagining the four holes as a circle, the two groups were going clockwise and counterclockwise respectively?

Yo, I'm trying my best man.

Gets up, calculates the time it takes for Soup/X1 to fly inbetween the top left hole and the bottom left hole, and uses his mad Bruce Lee skills to send a flying kick to knock their bodies out of the loop.

"I have a better idea."

Perform flying sex kicks and try to hit Ragnarock out of the holes.

Did you two pass them as you circled or were you traveling different routes that led to the same exits?

we kept passing the room we were initially in and we could hear their yelling "pass" us as we fell. so they were like right next to us at certain points it seems

So we have two circuits that link to the same exits and pass over each other like interlocked rings. There was a lever on the right side, was there one on the right?

How about your music?

For the record, they don't have to be circles, but I'm probably going to refer to them as such for my own convenience.

Bardull aand Gova look at each other. "You know what to do." They knod at each other, and then turn to look at the hole ragnarok falls down into. Ragnarok appears looking purple in the face and falls through the hole yet again. Bardull and Gova both begin to bob back and forth in synch as if they were two baller black chics get ready to jump into a double dutch jump rope.

After a short moment they give each other a final nod, and begin to yell inunderstandable things as they start running in sync towards the hole. Rag falls out of the hole in the ceiling and in an immense feat of showmanship gova and bardull leap in the air with one leg extended and miraculously connect with x1 and rag on their way down. Knocking the everfalling **** out of both of them but successfully pushing them out of the way of the hole.

ragnarok holds his body in immense pain and goes through a hyperventalating/throwup-y fit for a lil while untill he regains his composure. A shiny penny lies among the vomit on the ground.

Raggy can now post

yeah there were handles. dunno if theres a correct way to turn each one

bardull had turned the one in the left hole upward and then came in mine and kept turning it til the floor beneath us revealed a trap door and we both started falling

we heard a chant say

Midnights so dreary, tired and weary.
Silently pondering volumes extolling all by-now obsolete lore.
During my rather long nap - the weirdest tap!
An ominous vibrating sound disturbing my chamber's antedoor.
"This", I whispered quietly, "I ignore"....

lol modquote

macman which way was the lever facing when we started falling?

which way was the lever facing? i don't know what you mean by that, but the lever was jutting out from the wall perpendicularly and you had lost your sense of direction in the pitch black hole so you don;t know which 'side' of the wall the handle came from.

Alright, I caused that to happen, I turned the lever at the bottom of the left hole in a circular motion, after that, the handle went into the wall and caused me and x1 to go into an infinite fall.

I stopped and listened to the lyrics before I did this, they chanted:

Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was, they will continue singing it forever just because...
..because this is the song that never ends...

I was thinking that this had to do with binary of some sort, but that's not the case because both X1 and JTB tried that.

Bardull, you climbed a ladder the first time. Why didn't you hold on to avoid being put in the spin cycle?

I was thinking non terminating decimal, but that seems farfetched. I'm thinking it's a pattern I have not ascertained yet.

I was starting to think that, especially because PI is infinite, and Ryker thought it was mathematical.

Maybe nonterminating decimal isn't so farfetched. So what's the math or is this supposed to be a particular sequence of Pi?

it could just be sums... like the diameter of the circle the guys were going round in.

For instance, in the setup it mentions the hole is 20 foot to the left, so they'd be 40ft apart. It also mentions the radius of one of the circles is about a metre?

Unfortunately, I don't have spider senses and didn't get a chance to react in time to grab it. The ground we were standing on at the would-be bottom of the hole slid from underneath myself and Marshy right into the wall pretty quickly.

this is probably one of the harder puzzles ive done...

more info about the room:

The circular screen between the two holes is the brightest object in the dimly lit room. There are also multiple lights in the ceilings/walls however, they are very dim and appear to be very far away.

Pi itself never has two zeroes in a row and the chant we have, when broken down, does not have two zeroes (words with ten letters are considered zeroes). So it's not that simple.

I assume that if you were to draw a 1 with the lever, as opposed to a 0, you would get a straight line. Instead of moving in circles, you would move from the direct above to the one below and loop.

That double zero makes me think that it is definitely a sequence of numbers instead of a single number.
