Eruption seems to be blue now

If they do decide to keep Great Aether (I did love that move in Brawl, but I wouldn't mind if they made it more similar to the final attack on Ashera in Radiant Dawn [or if they merged the two]), I wonder if the whole attack will be done with Blue Flames. That would be pretty cool to be honest!

Great Aether now NEEDS to be updated to be based on the Final Attack against Ashera, complete with Micaiah showing up to "grant all of her power" to Ike, when he raises his sword into the air and blue flames pour around him. Anyone caught in the flames gets caught in the attack, and it finished with the traditional Great Aether from Brawl.

And here's a fun fact: Blue fire burns at higher temperatures than any other flame, except white. White fire is literally the hottest fire possible, with blue being a close second.

If anything, Ike's fire based moves being blue would be a testament to the power of the attack.

Blue fire occurs due to lack of oxygen, not heat. When you turn on the stove the fire is blue because the fumes of gas is taking over the oxygen surrounding the fire

Instead of letting off steam like everyone else after taking tons of damage, what if Sakurai Claus gave us fiery blue aura? Of course it would be even better for the whole match, we just can't get too greedy

Yeah that is back when Ike was first revealed. About the taunt thing. Ike was in the air when he started it so it can`t be a taunt.

Unless, the taunt makes him go up in the air! :O. Lol but seriously, the only thing that's bugging me is that there's no real explosion. The fire just rises and disperses in the trailer.

Unless THAT part was cinematic which I doubt, I think it is either:
- A new D-Air
- A new B-Special or different effects of Eruption (maybe even Up-B)
- A taunt, similar to Ganon's spin-in-the-air taunt.

Yeah, I saw the Blue Eruption too. So it was either changed by the time Robin and Lucina were shown off, or the Blue Eruption is a variant of the default of the original version.

If that's the case, I wonder what it'll do that's different. Maybe it's faster.

I think when Ike is charging Eruption, it's regular fire but when he slams it down, it's blue. Either way I'm excited

You know what just hit me, and it's probably a coincidence, but a reason why Ike didn't use blue flames in Brawl could have been because it was PoR Ike, who didn't even know Yune was a thing, let alone use her power.
