Any tips on edgeguarding in the ditto?
Also, is it true that you can use the Marth killer in the ditto if you fast fall as soon as you fall off the ledge? And is it useful in any way?

The number one tip I can give Marth players for ditto advice is to always, always, always pay attention to your positioning. In a ditto, overextending can kill you very easily, and if you aren't sure if jumping out for off-stage edgeguarding will kill your opponent (or at the very least won't get you killed in the process), it's probably best to stay on the stage and patiently fight them back there.

Understanding where to place yourself in relation to the edge is also super important, as you want to block as many options as you can in a way that won't allow them to regain stage control. If you make them fight hard to reset to neutral, then you are doing a pretty good job.

I know this isn't exactly what you were asking, but what you are asking is not something you can learn from a post anyways. Master this stuff first, and then branch out to more robust and riskier edgeguards.

Downtilt/Fsmash by the ledge can clip him, if you space it right (If he tries for a vertical sweetspot you need to be a bit away from the ledge, because only the tip of each move will actually hit below the stage. If he goes for a horizontal sweetspot, you need to be nearer to the ledge, so that you can actually reach him).

If you have the time to set it up, you can also grab ledge > drop > rejump > bair him on his return to the stage. If timed well, you can hit him with invincibility. But even if not, bair has good priority, so the only thing he can realistically trade with is a fair, which isn't going to do much to you, while your bair will kill him.
If he does get to do an up-b and lands on the stage with it, he will have tons of ending lag. Ledgejump > Fair / upair (non-tips) will often set up for fsmashes.

Those are all fairly easy to do, and should cover most situations, I think ;)

If he comes in high to land on stage, fair/fsmash/utilt.

If he's going for the ledge, you have lots of options. If you grab the ledge and manage your invincibility well, you can bair him if he goes low, you can ledgehop fair/uair him if he tries to land on stage, you can ledgehop intangible nair if he tries to up-b through you. If you're on stage and he tries to for the ledge, you can dtilt/fsmash and he can't sweetspot under it (vertical sweetspot). He can still horizontal sweetpot though so it is important to realize what spacings he is able to up-b at and whether he can hit you with it. Then position accordingly.
