Edge technique help !?

Hey everyone im not a sheik main but I have been playing sheik for the past little while.
When im on the edge of a level i usually just do a ledgehop nair or fair back onto the stage but just doing that can be really predictable. The other day i was messing around while bored and i was preacticing jumping off the ledge and wavelanding onto the stage one I find it easier to do by hitting down on the control stick instead of just hitting away but i was wondering if its practical and what are some good uses for it like with fox you can do that to an upsmash or something like that any suggestions ?? And also any other edge techneques you guys use with success would be appreciated !!

you can stall via dropping and up-Bing back. You can ledge hop any aerial, though n-air and b-air are imho the best for that. You can waveland->whatever (dodge, jab, grab)

I'd say watch some good sheiks (kdj if you want to see really good edgeplay) on youtube

For Fox, you mentioned ledgedash to usmash. That's a really great technique, in fact, you can do it under full invincibility if you're really fast.

Thanks for that tidbit there i never knew you could do it with invincibility frames


also to st. viers i was actually checking out kdj at about 5 yeasterday morning lol hes a beast and thanks for the tip for grab/jab afterthe waveland thats got my sheik semi ballin out of control one last question for doing a ledge hop bair do you jump over the opponent and then sweetspot it to hit them off the stage ??? or do you just jump on the stage as normal ?? thanks again
