Easiest Opponent For Falco?

I would say for me, Jiggs is the hardest to play with Falco. I just can't seem to get them down.
Easiest would be Ganondorf. Easy target for SHL's. He is too tall and usually can run circles around him.
PS: Bowser isn't all that bad. I am actually pretty good with him.

Let me give you the big tip on fighting Puff. I first saw Azen (the authority on fighting Puff) do this a lot, whenever the Puff goes for a short hop b-air or full hop b-air, full hop or double jump right over them and land a b-air either right after the Puff does their b-air, or land the b-air right about where you think the Puff will drift back and land on the ground. It's hard to explain, but if you do this a lot, you'll be getting around Puff's b-air tactics with ease.

As far as actual tournament characters are concerned, I would say Falco's easiest opponent is Captain Falcon, everyone else is either even or in favor of the opponent.

Hard for Falco (no order): Fox - Marth - Peach

Even or close enough to (no order): Sheik - Jigglypuff - Samus

Advantageous: Captain Falcon (Falcon can seem even at times though, just watch for overshoot n-airs an you'll be fine, and watch your tech game as well... Oh, and don't be afraid to just stand there and u-tilt through Falcon's approaches, lots of good Falcos do it, it's a good tactic, don't abandon it cause it looks stupid...)

I honestly don't know much about Climbers though, just judging from PC vs. Chu and some of my own logic, I would say it's even though, or close enough to.

So... why are we talking about Bowser again? Tournament characters are the only thing that matter really... but on the subject of low tiers, what's with all the hate on Kirby and love for Bowser? I see a Bowser main in here who is clearly biased. Bowser sucks, he's the worst character in the game. I've seen Mewtwos and Kirbys that prove their worth, but Bowsers? No, there are none. Come to Texas and you will see a Kirby that proves Kirbys worth, nobody is proving Bowser's worth, and he is the best match up for Falco. Good edge guarding game??? You're ****in Falco, tech that ****. Even Sonic has an incredible edge guarding game against Falco. Sorry, but I had to get that out there, this thread got too far off.

Thanks for the advice on Jiggs Velox. I did notice the B-airs a lot but don't face enough people to to counter them. I am going to go face that kid now(he's at my house but not reading this)and see if this works.

bowser is def not easiest. you ever played a good bowser. only thing you got on bowser is lasers. upb out of a shield edgeguaring will **** you if you dont know what your doing. its still in falcos favor but not the easiest match up. marth IS hard but idk. sheik gimps falco mad crazy and techchases and tlits him a lot. tilts **** falco. but shine combos **** her. jiggs is probably the hardest match up. and peach can get it with shl but is one of them also. ic's is a big one too. thery mad hard to face. ice climbers **** falco. i saw this avarage ics beat foward. ics have been only playin for a couple of months and beats foward. end of story.

Just had a few matches and I pwned my friends Jiggs. That advice about the Bairs worked. Jiggs is a lot more predictable now.

hehe, no problem Creo, it really does take Jiggly to a new level or predictablity. Like I said, Azen uses it all the time against Jigglypuff, so it must be good.

I pick Captain Falcon against Jigglypuff just to use the same trick but with knees or b-airs, but mainly knees. Heh, reeediculous ****. Lots of times the Jigglypuffs don't even know what's happening, and they just go back to full hoping b-airs because they think there's no way around it

I hope you're joking.

I hope you're not talking about Wobbles.

Sorry i am going to have to call bull**** on that one.

CF is ridiculously fast like fox. A good cf shouldn't be staying in their shield the whole match, and if you try to run away he can just nair you from like across FD. He is one of the best character to keep on falco and not let go, sort of like fox, except he has to chase you from a grab. Plus the knee is a ridiculous killer no matter where you are, and his DI is amazing.

And he's talking about some random NY IC player who beat him in a friendly, which is basically a match that doesn't matter. I've seen a scrub falco beat PC in a friendly falco ditto.

I've def. have my fair share playing Captain with Falco, I know what he can do.

I never said the match was ****, in fact, Falcon can do a whole lot to Falco. I even mentioned to watch for the overshoot n-air... yet you mention it like I don't know about it... And Falcon staying in shield... I seriously didn't start playing in Feb. like you may think...

What is your opinion then, of the easiest tournament character with Falco? I can come up with reasons why that character would show a pulse against Falco just as easy.

heh, I love ur sig though :p

I have never really thought about it tbh.

Join date doesn't matter, the points i say would still be said regardless.

I would vouch however that you do in fact have more cf experience than i do, maybe i missed some parts of your post or something, my bad. it's just the way i think of CF and "easy opponent" don't add up for me.

However tournament characters, as in not counting bowser kirby and friends, i would say probably samus is easiest for falco despite her survivability and shield game.

But yeah again sorry if i misinterpreted your post or skipped something.

I think that Link is the hardest for Falco, but that is mainly becqause my only friend that can accually play plays Links. Also i think Bowser is the easiest, even if they are a good Bowser.

I've always been a fan of the Falco-Fox matchup. Sure Fox can get shines in and kill at low percentages but in my experience that really only happens when you aren't playing intelligently. Falco can destroy Fox with his combo potential. Falco's shine juggling is just too good. Plus, Falco has a pretty easy time edgeguarding Fox.
