What do you think?

IMO:

Easiest: Peach (?)
Hardest: idk (lol) Fox, maybe? As I've been told Fox is really hard to use

So my sister who only knows how to spam Side-B with Kirby is going to pick up Fox and start SHLCing, Pro DDing, and Waveshining like crazy? She has never even wavedashed before

And yes, I know Kirby isn't in the game yet.
And ik your response to my earlier question will be "yes" but seriously it's just a troll. Also who do you think is the hardest?

Bowser is a great character for a beginner player with no experience. Bowser doesn't need to wavedash, and you can win without L canceling

Also who do you think is the hardest character to use?

If your sister is at the point where she only knows how to spam moves, then just have her play whichever character she likes best, even if it means playing a game other than Project M so she can play Kirby, or whoever. If she wants to improve and be a better player then having a character she actually likes will help a lot for when she eventually has to learn all the technical stuff that requires a bunch of practice.

Edit: Btw at a certain skill level (aka really low) I can actually see Fox as being a very easy character to use. He's fast, has an easy to understand recovery that's also very good, and he has moves that are both powerful and somewhat spammable.

Bowser and Ganondorf are pretty much the easiest to play, understand and do well with at low-mid level.
Fox while having a super easymode kill move and other great stuff, he's soo easy to suicide with or get gimped, it kinda balances out at low level compared to Bowser or Ganon.

I do actually see your point, but I don't see his recovery being anything special (it is great in comparison to certain recoveries, however, but I have commonly died just from being hit too far.

Also, I want to play the game with my sister, so I suppose melee is an option, but I will not play regular brawl, but I do like your point :)

But yeah, i'm looking for someone that a beginner can pick up and easily do well with :)

Thanks! That was really helpful though!

Also, 0RLy, I do see why lucario would be hard! His combos take time to learn and master, but he can be amazing when played well :)

While you might not start doing all those things right away as Fox, it doesn't take much to do lots of upsmashes and end up with kills somehow, especially if your opponent isn't great, but sometimes even if they are. Somewhere (I think in the social thread a while back?) was a video of Strong Bad (the guy who said Fox was easy) playing Fox in a tourney set and over a short timeframe in the video, over half his attacks were upsmashes and he took at least one stock if not two.

Thanks! Good advice!

Also yeah, I have suicided easily before, due to Fox's fast falling speed and how long his aerials last!

In context, he's probably half trolling. Yeah, Fox is incredibly hard to master. But, he's also pretty safe to play in an extremely braindead manner if your opponents aren't stellar.

I'm a little confused...are you saying he's easy to use if your opponents are GOOD? Sorry just a little confused

Spam up b out of shield, go to ledge, ledge attack, rinse and repeat. Side B occasionally. Use down air to escape juggles, d smash to mess up shields, down tilt and jab to stuff approaches, and bair or fair to edgegaurd. Congrats, you are now a super pro Bowser main.

The hardest character to use is Zelda because you have to resist the urge to down b.

Easiest: Bowser. Hardest: Lucario?
Lucario sucks and takes forever to learn, don't play him and definitely don't bother trying to learn the matchup. Also, make sure to CP stages with vertical walls, Lucario hates those. I have absolutely no ulterior motive for saying any of this.

1: Lol thanks for the Bowser tips: they were for my sister (im sure you know that by now and I'm a Fox main xD )

2: Resist Down-B..L...O...L...

Thanks!
Made a typo, edited my post.

Easiest: Charizard, Marth, Sheik
Hardest: Ivysaur, Pikachu

What Kinky said. Technically, every character is relatively easy to use in Smash, since this game's controls are simple. Some characters just have to work harder than others.

To expand on the previous two comments, "easy" is extremely subjective to skill level. At a high skill level, Kink and Vash are correct.

Since Hakkat is trying to help his sister choose a character and his sister likes spamming Stone with Kirby, I think it's safe to say that his sister is not at a very high skill level. Bowser is most optimal as he does not need to learn how to wavedash, unlike the aforementioned characters. Bowser has easy to learn options, huge range, high durability, and high damage. Controlling a slower character is far easier than a faster one and doing more damage reduces the loss in combo ability. Bowser concentrates on zoning, since he is so big and slow, so learning the neutral game is far more simplified. Playing defensively is a lot easier than playing offensively, so teaching her to up-b oos is vital. Slow combos like uthrow usmash or dthrow firebreath is a good start.

Cool, I am going to teach her that. My sister likes Squirtle but isn't very good. I still am a little confused on the whole Melee Fox and 1P:M Fox thing. What is it that makes him hard to use in Melee and not in P:M?

Fox isn't hard to use at all, it just takes a bit of time depending on what you learn. SHFFLing with a couple of waveshines thrown in isn't too hard.

Alright, lol.

I thought he was considered very hard to use in Melee and I assumed that meant he was in P:M too xD

Don't see why that would be the case since he's exactly the same in both lol
The only hard thing about Fox for me personally is getting extremely technical with him like Silent Wolf or Dark do.

Well there are two types of easy: easy to play (meaning the character is good) and easy to use (meaning the character is not technically demanding)

Sheik is probably the easiest to use. She isn't bogged down with a need to l-cancel like ganon and any low level player will comprehend her launcher>jump>fair combos.

Any top or high tier character is obviously a contender for easiest to play.

Thanks

Also I heard Pika is very technical at high level play.

He can be easy to play at low levels but his AT's such as QAC can be very hard to master (he also has great speed and a very effective and good DD)

I learned how to QAC very well with Pika from Brawl. I'm nowhere near of a master as the guy who made the video doing it (QAC'ing to edgeguard)
For me though, Pika isn't fit for my playstyle. So much technicality, but with not much reward. The little guy dies so easily.

He's good to "wow" someone for the first time though. I rather stick to other players.

Easiest? Most likely Wario. I've been racking up a lot of KOs with him while training!

Yeah, he is definitely stronger and more technical than he seems at first sight!

Yeah, Wario has great aerials and such! His attacks are strong too! Downside is they leave him incredibly vulnerable.
