E3 expectations?

Figuring there are daily updates right off the assembly line I'm guessing there will have to be some sort of E3 video or something. Even if it is just some more gameplay footage that would be nice.

Anyone else have any expectations or has heard anything interesting?

If they decide not to show anything at E3,I'm sure they'll have a mega update on the website, like Snake or somehting.

How is snake a mega update? Look, imo anything would be nice. I'm trying not to expect anything to get the most enjoyment out of it.

yeah, the update are a strait run up to E3.

I'm hoping the release date will be shown though...

Like I said in another thread like this, I'm really hoping that Nintnedo shows something that will make everyone and their grandma buy Brawl. I mean, in this new gen,kill-or-be-killed era, they need to show something amazing. I was thinking about three old characters(DK,Yoshi,Captain Falcon) fighting Three new Guys(say Diddy,Krystal, and Ridley) and then do something like the Solid Snake entrance, showing Sonic blazing onto the scene in the last five seconds. That alone would give every single video game fan on the planet a mind-shattering nerdgasm.

Since he is the first 3rd party character,it would seem like a good update to have on the week of E3.We already know about him,but it seems like a smart move from their side.

It wont be playable, but there will most likely be a trailer with new characters, hopefully a conformation of online, and a release date. It will probably be playable at this years nintendo show.

Ooh I never thought of a release date. That would be very nice to see at E3! Now I don't even care about seeing another video I want info!

I expect a demo version of the game to be on the floor honestly. It is pretty far in development, and a small collection of the fighters they announced already would be easy to put together. The game is near release, and needs the hype.

While all smash players will be looking forward to it there is the issue of it being on Wii. N64 and GC never really became household like Wii, and many owners are young enough to have missed SSBM. They will want to show the game off at E3 and hook in these people before launch.

As for content..... I think a demo is the best route Nintendo can take. A new trailer will be likely, and possibly some announcements.

I hope a launch date is set, and another non-Nintendo character is unveiled.

With Nintendo having so many big games coming up it could be a little lost in the crowd too, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

It's already been basically confirmed that there will not be a playable demo on the floor. Check IGN.

Things i would like to see:
A new video with gameplay, especially of characters we haven't seen that much like Fox and Zelda and Samus. A definite release date. And the details of final smash and whether or not I will be able to turn them off.

Too badd they won't have a playable demo. (Why not just a demo of you choosing just mario or Link?). But if not that there HAS to be some exciting announcement, wasn't Snake 1st announced in E3 06? Hopefully even more surprises wait for this, man good updates like this and Brawl sounds more enjoyable to play then even Halo 3 or GTA 4! Brawl may become the Wii's best selling title (Just like Melee was for the GameCube). Hopefully i'm not being to optimistic for Nintendo's future (And sega's if you know what i mean...)
