Just so you know, I'll only allow a maximum of 2 characters to be switched if you guys end up agreeing. I'm sure that's all you'll need anyways.

I still need to know how you guys would prefer to do this though.


You have 3 choices.

1. We do a standard 4-man bracket. You guys will do 1 set each. Finals will be Best 2/3.
2. We do a standard 4-man bracket. But you start off doing best 2/3. Finals will either remain best 2/3 or jump up to best 3/5.
3. We do a round robin. All 4 finalists will face each other. Best 2/3 or one single set. Top 2 will be determined from the results and face off in the finals.

I would like input from all four of you if possible.



Also, take a look at the stages I chose for this. If you have any stages that you'd like to recommend or even remove, then let me know. Please provide decent reasoning behind your stage input.

Also, I thought of another rule that I forgot to add to the OP.

Game are 2/3 and for each individual match each opponent picks a stage. Well for the next match, you'll both have to choose a different stage than the one you chose in the first one.

Ex.

First Match.

Player A chooses FD
Player B chooses Delfino

Player B wins the match


Second Match

Player A cannot choose FD, so he chooses Smashville
Player B cannot choose Delfino, so he chooses BF

Player A wins the Match.



Third and final match

Player A cannot choose FD or Smashville and decides to choose PS1
Player B cannot choose Delfino or BF and decides to choose FD

Player B wins the match and the set



Hope that makes sense.
Also, if possible, try to keep track of how many characters the winner has after each match. This isn't necessary but I made need this info to decide the a tie.

edit: so, lets see, assuming a match is a 2-0 shutout it takes 36 stocks taken to win, so, thats a good hour or so at minimum just brawling to win basically :1!!!!!!
