The DSi is a portable game player with music storage, 2 screens one of which being a touch screen, and two cameras (and two speakers). It also has buttons.

The ipod touch is a portable music player with game storage, a touch screen, and motion sensitivity.

Forgetting about the iphone, these two devises seem to have a lot of overlap in their capabilities. Thoughts?

The DSi is Nintendo's response to the iPod Touch/iPhone.

While that link claims they are not in competition, it is only because with the iPhone, people who have AT&T are going to get the iPhone whether they use games, music, apps or not just because it is one of the best phones out there. I have an iPhone and the games on it are fantastic and the camera is pretty nice. The DSi doesn't appeal to me in any way whatsoever.

Where the hell have you been? The DS already had a Music player, camera, touch screens and 2 speakers. They just added the SD card due to people having 2+ gigs of music.

I'm not sure if this is a joke thread but it certainly seems like one.
