You mean poniesYou got anymore dead horses you wanna beat while you're here?
Aaaaaaaaaand you took it too far. The joke was dead. You mean ponies
Yes. That was the point.Aaaaaaaaaand you took it too far. The joke was dead.
Seeing Super Saiyan God in Battle of the Gods was neat because it was the first time we had gotten new DBZ material in years, so obviously the movie wanted to be as impressive as possible. While I'm still excited for Revival of F I'm also cautious. I'm okay with DBZ continuing as a series of movies, but I'm not down with us getting a new Goku form in every new flick. On to the next point, it looks like Akira Toriyama will keep giving us new forms after SS3, as well as new hair colours. Can't wait for Purplish Golden haired Ascended Ultimate Super Saiyan 3 who absorbed the power of Super Saiyan God 4.
Piccolo's Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon) has always been hype for me.So, does anyone have a favorite attack from the series? I remember being really hyped whenever Goku/Gohan would do the Kamehameha. Though Final Flash is pretty badass too.
Yeah, that move is awesome. Though he doesn't use it too often, probably one of the reasons it's cool. When Piccolo does use it, **** usually gets real.Piccolo's Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon) has always been hype for me.
Heh?There's going to be a new Dragonball series airing in April called Dragonball Super. It's going to take place after the new movies and will presumably replace GT. As far as Toriyama's involvement goes, it seems that he will give it his blessing and won't contribute in any other way.

The article is written pretty ambiguously. The first time I read it I thought that Toriyama wasn't going to be involved, but after rereading it I think he's penning the story and that's it. So maybe he has some level of involvement this time.Heh?
Wasn't that the same case in GT? Toriyama didn't write anything but he did allow/approve it to happen. He came up with the name GT (Grand Tour) and designed the look of the main cast.
I'm hoping they stay away from adding/using gimmicky/shtick y charactersI kind of wish this thread was a little more active. Maybe when Super comes out it will be. Anyway, it turns out that Dragon Ball Super will actually have a comic book adaptation along with the cartoon. What's more is that it'll be written by Toriyama. However, another one of the Dragon Ball artists will be doing the art.
I think that might be for the best, even if Toriyama's style is better when the man himself does it. That way he isn't too overworked. From what I understand, DBS will have it's comic book come out in monthly chapters, like modern JoJo, as opposed to the weekly chapters the original DB or One Piece had.
Well, I'm hoping that Toriyama and his team will be able to make a lot of use for the other characters in this. The original series did this quite well if you ask me. Even if some characters didn't get to save the day, they still got screen time and some good fights in spite of that.
At the very least, I'm hoping the other Saiyans and Piccolo will still be relevant, it'd be even better if some of the Humans are relevant along with them.
I'm actually totally cool with monthly chapters, since it means that we'll get better quality art and hopefully writing out of the series.I kind of wish this thread was a little more active. http://www.forbes.com/sites/ollieba...l-z-extreme-butoden-to-get-a-western-release/DBZ Extreme Butoden has potentially gotten a rating in Europe as well. If this really is true, then we might see the game hit western shores. Probably in the holiday season if we're lucky.
Well, that's good to know. I'm actually looking forward to this game. I know the supers are kind of slow, but everything else looks pretty fun.
