Dr/Mario

In about two months, I'm going to be moving in with my friend. He has two friends who play Dr. Mario and Mario. They're both the best out of everyone. I've fought the guy who plays Mario, and he beat me pretty nicely. I have no strategy against either characters.

I mostly play Fox, but I also can use Falco, Falcon, Samus, and Sheik.

Which character would be best against Dr/Mario? What would be the best stages against them? Should I space? Or should I be aggressive?

Any other advice is welcome too.

CKit's guide has matchup info about both marios. fox has a good matchup against both of them, so long as they don't chaingrab you on FD.

Or you could just go Sheik.

Imo Fox drillshines are all you need though. To grabs, to usmashes.

i just go sheiks on docs. its the easiest for me

keep in mind, doc can **** sheik back w/ a single grab.

yeah, as a doc main I'd say facing a good fox is much harder than a good sheik...

if you have a good falcon I's say use him

My Falcon isn't the best, but he's alright. I've never read any guides on how to play him. I just watch pro Falcons, and mimic some things they do.

My Sheik is much better than Falcon, but I don't think it's better than my Fox/Falco.

Just as a note...we'll be playing on FD more than any other stage.

i would stay away from samus vs any of the marios cause of his cape.
