Dr. Mario. What kind of doctor is he?

I've been wondering what kind of Doctor he truly is.

Physician?
Psychologist?
Chemist?
Veterinarian?
Dermatologist?
Dentist?
Orthopedic Specialist?
Professor?
Mal practicing Street Pharmacist?
Gynecologist?
Chris Benoit's Pharmicist?

Oh and does anyone think he'll return only as a Mario costume.

I definitely hope that's all he'll return as. Nothing more.

Dr. Mario rocked the house--almost as much as Roy.

He is most likly a Pharmasist or just your every day medical doctor, How else could you explain the fact that he wears something they have around his neck.

Alt costume would be good.

Hmmmm, he might return as an alternate costume. He was so good though. I liked using his pills 50x more than Mario's fireballs. Roy is my main in SSBM, so I hope he comes back. But Ike is there so I don't know we'll see. Along with Falco, I want Ganondorf to come back with a new moveset. Pichu can just go away.

There is no way I can possibly imagine Ganondorf NOT coming back. Hopefully he'll be able to use hs sword.

Pichu was a joke. His own move urt him. WTF?

I agree 'Dorf Should come back, But Falco's My main and I would also want him back...I also wonder what Nintendo "Officially" Says at Dr.Mario's Exact Profession is, I guess we should read the info for one of his games...

Dr. Mario would be a chemist since he's behind the research and development of his own medical practice. Pharmacist only distribute medicine as well as have knowledge of how things work, while Dr. Mario is stated as spending a lot of time studying in his lab (trophy, games ect.) and has been seen as the only one capable of using those megavitamins.

Mr. Sakurai did mention something in regards to costume change, so he has high chances of returning as a costume for Mario.

Edit - Oh, and yes, I can be a bit of a fun-ruiner. :p

Hell yes. The Doc is a drug dealing pimp. The cape says it all. He just needs a pimp stick.

O and the Doc rocks. He's my second main. He distributes pills and pain.

This thread went into two complete different (one slightly frightening) topics in the midst of three pages.

Anyway, I think he's your regular, average everyday doctor. Has the office, appointments, has Nurse Peach there to cancel appointments and such.
