down tilt to cape

I play against Aiko a lot and he mains fox. I'm quite new to the advanced techs and he's a fox player. I've realised that if I'm at the edge facing towards the stage I can use down tilt at medium-high %'s to use a great set up for caping. Is this a good idea with Dr?

i wouldn't make it a habit but it's a good surprise move once in a while

I agree with Pockey. A good surprise or mind game, but not very practical. I mean, the downtilt will hit them into the stage, but if you become predictable they will just tech it and reap hell on you.

I meant if you down tilt to send them off of the stage.
