i can do it consistently and all have to say is practice. although i would have to say it came rather easy because wavedashing required you to tilt your stick at an angle and so does the double QA forward.

I can do it perfectly for any distance. I can even go slightly up to avoid ground hazards if needed.
Hell, I can do it infinitely, in a way:

QAC, jump to break the quick attack, QAC again, jump to break the quick attack, continue onward...

Basically its just make sure to press forward for the first, then down+forward for the second, it just takes practice. my advice (and what i did) is to make a stage for custom stage builder with a straight away, as many blocks as you can, on the largest map possible, and then just try to do it there back and forth. just my advice

In addition to that, make sure you have blocks on the sides so you stop yourself from accidently QACing over the edge. :p

haha yeah good point...I myself added something like that since I was practicing CGing with DDD and ICs but it wasn't working so well when I tried to turn around, they would go off the edge lol

I have it down to where i just rotate the control stick. I go 12 o clock counter clockwise to about 8 o clock, then i shift straight back to 12 o clock and hit B, then continue. This may or may not help.

I did not know Pikachu could to this. I am still trying to learn this technique with Toon Link. Is it any different with Pikachu?

EDIT:

I am referring to the attack cancel part of course.

AFAIK with TL, the only thing he can cancel into is a bow shot, but what he is talking about here is going extra far forward with Pika, and still ending up doing a QAC, so he can do something else...I'm not sure about what attacks auto cancel with TL though

I thought you were talking about something different. With Toon Link you can do two quick sword slashes to trap your opponent. Stop for a spit second and finish your opponent with a smash. Can you attack your opponent with a quick regular attack and when your opponent moves away stop and finish with a side smash or quick attack then smash?

Maybe, but I think thats like with Ike, if you don't finish his jab combo you can lead into other things, maybe TL is the same...I would advise looking around the TL boards for your answer, since I just picked him up as a tertiary character :)
