I went into my friend's Brawl name that he always uses when I bring it over, and changed up the control scheme. Every attack was shield.

This happened at a tournament I went to, though not during an actual tourney set. We were all playing and walking around when from the corner we hear "Hold up, my L button is set to jump for some reason. Wait, all three top buttons- EVERY BUTTON IS SET TO JUMP! WHAT THE ****?"

It was great.

Can you even set all buttons to Shield? There are some restrictions.

Me and my friend set most of my other friends buttons to jump, we would break our own shields and he would try and hit us and he would just be jumping around lol.

I think a warning comes up but I'm sure you can. however I am not sure about the C-Stick, because I don't think they would let you put "jump" or "shield" on it because it really isn't made for that.
Good idea.

You've just given me a great idea for the next time my friend is over.

This will be awesome.

Just tested it. A warning comes up but it doesn't do anything.

And you can totally set the C-Stick to shield. Ahaha. I don't know why they thought that'd be a super awesome idea.

Lmfao. "Hey, what if they don't have any fingers except thumbs? They could use the c-stick to shield"...

Me and my friend make new names, randomize our button schemes by setting each other's controls (making sure theres at least one button for each option), then fight it out and see who can adapt faster.

Why have I never thought of this!? Thanks!
I can't believe I haven't thought of that.
How have I never thought of this before. LOL.

This is so good.
:D

I assigned most attacks shield. I can't remember exactly what the button inputs were, but I'll go and find them and post it.

*highfives*

This should be a whole new level of tournament play: Randomized Buttons.
