So characters like Balloon Fighter would go under Least Overlooked and characters like Donbe and Hikari would go under Most Overlooked.

heres a moveset I came up with right now...dunno if ppl will care or not but w/e:

Donbe & Hikari:
Red: Donbe gets red clothes, Hikari gets pink top, red bottom
Blue: Donbe gets blue clothes, Hikari gets white top, blue bottom
Green: Donbe gets green clothes, Hikari gets yellow top, green bottom
Black: Donbe gets black clothes, Hikari gets white top, black bottom
White: Donbe gets white clothes with a black belt, Hikari gets white clothes
Default: default; Donbe gets blue clothes, Hikari gets white top, red bottom

Entrance: they ride in on Ohana, the pheasant
B: Ringo - summons the dog out to ram into foes and then comes back...he brings back items on the way as well...
UpB: Ohana - they ride on the bird and fly up
SideB: Matsunosuke - kinda like Diddy's Side B
DownB: Switch - switch the leader of the duo, they keep similar attacks...but Donbe is stronger and slower and can kill easier, Hikari is weaker and faster...so she can combo more
Final Smash: Tengu - >sorry I cant come up with anything...<
Taunt 1: Donbe smiles with his fist at his hips rubbing his nose, Hikari looks happy
Taunt 2: they both raise their hands in victory
Taunt 3: Donbe jumps up and down while Hikari giggles

A: right slap
AA: backhand
AAA: left punch

ForwardTilt: horizontal swipe with stick/fan
UpTilt: push upward like Ness
DownTilt: poke downwards with stick/fan

ForwardSmash: if Donbe leads, he does a powerful double-handed hammer fist coming down to the ground, if Hikari, she does a downwards double fan 'slice'
UpSmash: if Donbe, headbutt upwards, if Hikari, she slaps her fan up
DownSmash: Donbe stomps downward, Hikari does blows her fans down, with the wind having the hitbox

Dash A: Donbe does a flying sidekick, Hikari does a spinning hit with her fans

NeutralAir: like Ness'
ForwardAir: slams stick/fan in stick form downward
BackAir: back kick
UpAir: clap upward
DownAir: they kick downward. Donbe's meteors, Hikari's does combo damage

Grab: they grab with a free hand...
GrabHit: the other hits and the leader stomps on their feet
ForwardThrow: Donbe throws them forward
BackThrow: Hikari blows them away with her fans
UpThrow: Ohana grabs them and brings them skyward and then when they are released, they get into a tumbling animation
DownThrow: Donbe jumps up and down, stomping on them and Hikari slaps them with her fans

EdgeAttack(-100%): slaps
EdgeAttack(+100%): slowly gets up and does a harming roll

Victory Pose 1: Donbe is eating rice while Hikari is playing a bamboo flute
Victory Pose 2: Donbe hops up and down in victory while Hikari does a pose with her fans out
Victory Pose 3: Donbe does a peace sign and Hikari does some cute anime thing...
Losing Pose: Donbe pouts and Hikari claps

It only makes sense Sakurai adds more OBSCURE/RETRO characters, for three main reasons...


1.- Nintendo has a policy of appealing to the largest audiences possible. Make new gamers, and make ex-gamers gamers again.

2.- For popularity issues... I'm safe to say that no other popular suggestion could beat that of SONIC and SNAKE being in Brawl. So the "popularity" department of SSBB is SAFE.

3.- Popular + Popular will sell less than Popular + Retro. Common sense...
