Does the Melee music sound different to anyone else?

Most of them sound the same as they've always been, but some, especially the SMB3 song for Yoshi's Island sound a lot different. Green Greens sounds a little distorted as well.

Yes, the music was remastered or something to that effect.

The Giga Bowser theme is undoubtedly different.

It would make sense if they were remastered to keep up with Brawl's music quality, but I thought they were aiming to keep the Melee content as close to the same as they were, seeing as they didn't even improve the graphics or anything on the Melee stages.

The Battlefield theme is also different.

Melee's Opening theme also sound quite different, but it sounds quite sweet when you hear it.

You can hear that BGM by playing stage 11 in Classic Mode, and can be unlocked by playing through the Subspace Emissary if I remember right.

I like the Fire Emblem music a lot more now. It was one of my favorite melee tunes and now it sounds even sweeter.

it sounds slightly different but might not be noticeable to those who don't listen as closely.
