Does Project M unlock all characters, stages and music?

I wanna know, because i have a friend, and he wanna try Project M but he hasn't a save file of brawl in his wii so... We don't wanna unlock everything so... I wanna know before trying out Project M in his wii...

No PM will not unlock everything. You need to look on google for a 100% save. There DOES exist one that you can easily copy from the SD card to the Wii, but you need to have played PM/Brawl at least once before you can use it.

at a tournament this past weekend someone downloaded project m without unlocking anything in brawl, so whenever you finished a match fast you would go through the whole 'challenger approaching' for falcon

What does that mean? I unlock something after every match?

Edit: After searching i found that the save i have (100% save file) needs to be in the RSBE sub folder, but in the Project M isn't a RSBE Sub folder, what does this mean? i need to create the folder? And also there is a RSBE file, i need to move it to the new folder with the save?




Edit again: Sorry i was wrong, there is a sub folder called RSBE, sorry.

Edit again : I don't know how to put the save... can someone explain it to me? I need to create new sub folder or something? I searched in google and the rute doesnt exist in my P:M folders.

I tried doing this and it didn't work for me. It would be nice, there's a lot of music I still haven't unlocked.

I'll lose my 72 hit record in training with Lucas tho

You can play Project: M on a brand new Brawl save, but you'll have to go through all of the Brawl achievements and all of the "Challenger Approaching!" screens. There's no harm in doing this, however.

How big of an sd card would you need for the download? Because i tried it on a 2GB size and it downloaded it, but wouldnt it be bigger than that, and could somebody paste a link please?

I bought a new Wii to play Project M with no Brawl save on it originally, and I when I downloaded PM it did unlock all characters and stages. Although after you play enough matches you will have to fight the characters, but it doesnt bug your game or anything.
