Does CPL Run Smash Tounaments?

I have never thought CPL (Cyberathletic Professional League) ran smash tournaments, but I just got a news letter directly suggesting that they do. Here is the screenshot. Did anyone know that they did?

They do! I believe they are having an event in texas in late august or early sept. This is a recent developtment too, can anyone give more info?
