Does anyone live in the Mansfield/Ashland OH area?

I'm trying to find more people in my local area who play Brawl and Melee besides me and a friend but I haven't had any luck. I'd like to be able to play against more people instead of just my friend who's about the same skill level as me and I can't really get to Columbus regularly so that isn't an option.

According to Wikipedia it's in the Mid Ohio region.

Ashland, Ohio isn't to far away from it. As for Distance from Akron and Cleveland it's about an hour IIRC which is about the same for Columbus.

You live near Beegs. Just to give King a general idea. Like 20 mins from him but Beegs doesn't play anymore. I'm trying to get him back into it though =p

Unfortunately NEOH is sooooo spread out. The closest smashfest is really gonna be Akron/Canton area.

If I'm ever down at Beegs place you should come out and bring your friend. We play Melee once in a while (Beegs is really good, I dont have the tech skill but know how to read so its a nice mix up)

Hey guys, I'm a Mount Vernon Ohio Smasher. Mansfield is basically 30-or-so minutes away from Mount Vernon. I have about 3 people I play with regularly... they're not about the competitive scene like I am, but they're learning.

I know there's little chance of this happening, but I recently started up a Facebook group for Mount Vernon Ohio and it's surrounding areas. Basically, I'm trying to build it up to have a decent roster of players that are stuck out in No Man's Land like we are. If you guys would like to join and invite any friends/people that you see online that play, you're more than welcome to.

The group itself covers all games; Smash 64, Melee, Brawl, Project M, 3DS and Wii U... though I don't have a Wii for Project M (I have an SD card though) or 3DS smash. I think the group could get a decent following, and with enough people, we could possibly start having events.
