Do unofficial online tournaments exist?

Hey guys,

When i first heard smash was going to have online capabilities, i was envisioning a full ranking and match up system, so i could definitively know that i was the greatest.

Sadly, this is not true.

I was wondering if you guys ever have "unofficial" online tournaments, organized through the forum?

Yeah i've heard of them in fact i'm hosting one! go to online tourney thread for some unfofficial online touneys.
