Nope. In fact, I'm losing interest in the franchise because it hasn't changed enough. I had to force myself to beat Alpha Sapphire.
I get the feeling that it might be more that ORAS was just kinda... okay I guess? One of my friends and I had a conversation about this last night, but there was just something to ORAS that made the entire experience pretty damn underwhelming. They managed to make Hoenn feel tiny, the extremely varied environments forgettable, entirely because if you have to go anywhere you've already been they just have your rival teleport you there. Not only that, but they made the leaders cartoonishly unappealing (I am not a fan of the redesigned teams, btw), made the soundtrack less memorable, I feel like the lowered the overall difficultly on top of that.Nope. I actually unironically agree with you. Maybe its because I'm a grumpy old twentysomething year old, but I don't get whats with the kid and their wub wub music. The soundtrack's fine, but compared to the original, it's not all that memorablebecause there's no trumpets.
Because wub wub music's where it's at, yo!I actually unironically agree with you. Maybe its because I'm a grumpy old twentysomething year old, but I don't get whats with the kid and their wub wub music.
Seriously, though. ORAS soundtrack was way too 10s for my tastes. I actually liked the "HORNS NOTHING BUT HORNS" OST. At least it was memorable and distinct. ORAS' OST sounds like it could have been any fan remix from the last five years.
Actually you are only showing your true colors/affection for Ruby Sapphire, as ORAS is by far the most "faithful" remake compared to RBY & FRLG and GSC & HGSS.I get the feeling that it might be more that ORAS was just kinda... okay I guess? Don't get me wrong, there's a lot that I liked in ORAS but I feel like the game just didn't come together as an overall package very well.
Maybe. I still don't like how your rival teleported you all over the place, it made the region feel really small.Actually you are only showing your true colors/affection for Ruby Sapphire, as ORAS is by far the most "faithful" remake compared to RBY & FRLG and GSC & HGSS.
