so basically from my testing with opiumfish it seems that upaway will prevent regrab though you can be tilted with ftilt which if diied away you will probably get out...though at higher damage they will just aerial you.

directly away will just get you regrabbed for a long time

I have a question that pertains to DIing the throw while at the same time DIing the hit that will come immediately afterward. When DIing the throw, I want to DI up and away, and if I get hit by a tilt then I will switch the DI to away so I don't get hit by a fair. However, at higher percents would it be possible to DI away with the control stick then to DI up and in with the C-stick so that I am able to DI the slap? Or do I have to switch my DI from up and away to up and in?

Honestly I think DI up and in will make it easier to get hit by the fair. I think Husband is very correct. I played tons of Sheik/Marth last night and anytime I got grabbed, if I just DI up and away I took the least amount of CG and was easier to escape additional hits. DIing up and away is also good in case you DO get hit by the fair.

hmm, well i'm still bothered that i don't know when it might be beneficial to di up and in on sheik's dthrow. I would however, think that at higher damage it would be harder for the sheik to hit..a tilt would send you too far..so they have to aerial just like they have to aerial at high percentages if you di up and away..but they won't be able to hit a fair so they will have to shorthop an upair backwards..which is less likely to kill usually i think?
