Ok there are quite a few things I wanted to discuss using the Reverse Aerial Rush technique. Most commonly (95% of the time), this is used with back airs. I want to discuss certain other moves. I believe they have a lot of potential. Before I want to establish 2 types of spacing.

Forward spacing-what we're use to ask spacing.
Backwards spacing- passing through someone, it's the spacing that you cause to the direction you just came from(example: falco sh jumps to the right through a shielding snake. Falco then back airs as he's about to land and pushes Snake to the left away from Falco. Falco also DIs farthest he can away, but still able to land the Bair. Yes, I know it's confusing w/e not the point)

Running reverse N-air(RRN)-Advantages
  • Good speed once over shield
  • Good positioning at the end
  • Shield pressure and can shield poke if backwards spaced.
  • Catches sidesteps and air dodges(if they're not on the ground)
  • Combo setups- Down throw at 80% into RRN(catches their airdodge.) If you hit their left side and fall off the stage, you can jump back air and get a early kill.
  • Low lag to fast fall with.
Disadvantages-
  • It doesn't start hitting until you're over them, so it's not very good for forward spacing.***Big disadvantage.***
  • Not a lot of knockback(Can be used as an advantage though)

Punishment level- 3/10(Falco gets punished 3 times out of 10 for using it unless it's spammed.)

There are others but I want to discuss this first. So....

Alright, well I only tend to use this vs anyone taller than falco, otherwise it becomes much easier to be punished.

It would take really fast reflexes to punish you for using this. And the great part about it is, if it connects, you can just FF and you can follow it up much easier, and if it lands on shield, you just keep DI'ing back.

It's just another thing to use to mix up your close range game. I also do the same thing with dair, though it's less safe.

I like how you can autocancel it and since you're opponent will most likely be shielding, there is an opportunity to grab. It's a good mix-up since most opponents will expect a bair.

Thank you, you have given me a good topic to spark on the Fox boards. I'll comment on the RAR arials later. I always love to do them.
