Hey! I found a new true combo! It worked on Link in training mode (haven't had time to test it on a human player) It works 41-54% and deals 25% and 29%

Dair-Uair-Fair (29%)
Dair-Uair-Uair (27%

Thats cool. I noticed that I was able to combo Dair into other aerials as well. If you short hop and you buffer the Dair so that it comes out on the first frame after Diddy's jump you can SH Dair with no landing lag. This lets you jump immediately for aerial follow ups. Too bad it won't combo into anything if they tech the Dair, but if they don't it can make some pretty cool combos like you've pointed out. :b:

And, even if they do manage to tech it they still get dealt the 13% that Dair gives... The only way to get punished would be if it was shielded. However, you can start this combo on someone that misses a tech so there should be uses for it, just limited and not as useful as the New-Haa.

I was meesing around and found FF Nair -> Uair on Sheik was a true combo and KO'd around 120%

EDIT: Also at higher percents when DTilt -> Usmash no longer works and when DTilt -> RAR Bair is harder to land because Dtilt launches further. Its easier to land Dtilt -> Fair and it will still KO

Thanks for finding these out! However, did you look at my post on the previous page? I have a list of all the true combos Orocket and I could find, and we covered FF Nair- Uair 0-94% on Mario and Dtilt to Usmash 107-136%, however I have never been that good at Dtilt-RAR Bair, so if you wouldn't mind could you test that on mario so that I coul add it to my post? I know it works best at 120% but I have a feeling it might true from 115-135%

Lol I also have trouble landing that. I'm so inconsistent I don't even bother with it.

Sweet! thanks, I will add this combo if it is okay with you(I will give you credit) and did you know that Sourspot dair Jab-locks? It can be used to further extend the combo with even more possibilities!

So I tried the combo on a couple characters. https://vine.co/v/eDaJOEppKEE(Hype and I think I may have missed one hit of the Usmash so it could have been more damage)

I only tested it on some of the top tiers. I found it was really easy to land on Yoshi, Fox and Luigi. Easy on Rosalina as long as you don't hit Luma. It was pretty hard on Sheik, but I think with some practice its do-able. And it didn't work on ZSS.

EDIT: i tweeted ZeRo this link,but he said he didn't like it since it could be teched :/ while thats obviously true I still think most people would miss the tech especially if you only use it rarely

Ftilit jab-locks as well. But I dont think you can jab lock after a banana trip.

EDIT: Ftilit only jab-locks at low percents.

Yeah. Looking at it from a top player perspective it's not optimal because it can be teched. I understand what Zero is saying here. I'd say that you could pull it off maybe once or twice to surprise your opponent, but after that they will probably catch on and tech it. It's definitely a good combo to catch your opponent off guard though. :chuckle:

Its not very good. It only works on some characters at specific percents and I believe and can be DI'd so that it is not a true combo

I tested it on multiple characters at different percents to see if it would work and I found that it usually works between 5-50% total with shiek being 5 and ganondorf topping at 50% On characters like Mario it works at 9-40% and I checked DI, Forward, Down, and Up. The only one where it does not true combo is Back, but in that case there are many other combo string to pull off. It is a bit harder when DI'ed up and a bit harder then that when DI'ed down. However, it is still possible to make it true combo when DI'ed in those directions. These numbers might not be exactly accurate but these are the numbers I remember. Also, the DI options that make the combo more difficult are probably easier at certain percents, and there is most likely a percent window in which it doesn't matter which way they DI as long as you predict it. (which you have to do with any combo) Plus, it works at a larger percent window than Uthrow-Bair-Bair and yet Angel uses that combo.

this naming convention is dumb, say what the combo is
Would you deny the Almighty D1 his rights?!? Also, I will test this combo to find the percents it works on with each character, including DI.

Check out My Smash Corners diddy video for one of them, but the one I mention is pretty simple.

How it works is that you have to be standing next to your opponent. then up B(you don't have to charge) and turn the rockets in a half circle into the ground. the first hit will launch the opponent into the second hit. If you do it right Diddy will hit them the first hit, and then when the barrels explode on the ground the opponent will also be hit. I hope this helps!

Thanks for getting these percents. I see you're still adding to it! :grin: I hope to use this combo more after I have practiced it enough and get a feel for the percents.

For some reason I am becoming pretty adept at using it... I can't think why.

At Paragon MVD was trying to use Dthrow-Dair alot, however it never worked. It seems a bit to risky and luck based to be viable. But there might be a use for it that is yet unknown.

Angel Cortes has also been using it a lot at 0% and it rarely works. It's because:
- You have to buffer the turnaround fullhop dair during the dthrow, and it's easy to mess it up
- The opponent can DI the dthrow so the dair doesn't connect
- Even if you land the dair, it doesn't send you in tumble so you can buffer a roll on the ground to avoid the follow-up

Funny thing is, I played against a top player from another region in a few dittos and he kept doing this to me. It kept working because I'm a bad player LOL

There was a guy in the Banana set up thread lauding it's brilliance, I was/am still skeptical.

The guy can make the combo work against most people because he's one of the best players in Australia, but against someone at his level, he opts for standard 0% grab combos.

Ahh, I asked him why top players rarely go for it and he thought it was because it wasn't widely known. It is a very difficult and not very guaranteed combo.

I thought I was the only one who actually uses that move. Turns out I was wrong! :p I really love FF nair so much.
I love it, a couple of times I have even been able to string them FF-Nair-Fair-FF Nair-Fair because my opponent DI'ed wrong.

I found out that you can down throw and string together 3 upairs at early percents without rage
to manage to get the 3 depends on the opponents weight,how much percent they have,if the opponent is smart enough to air dodge in time and theyre hurtbox
For example you can land the 3 uairs on :4rob: at 0% but to get the 3 on :4lucina: and :4fox:you need to do around 5-11%? then dthrow and uair 3 times (most of this was done on training mode so landing the 3 uairs on an actual human being is unlikely)

you have seen pre-patch diddy right? anyways, how many uairs true combo'd one or two? because the second might link/true but the third is definitely avoidable. There are also better combos to do at these percents. on heavy/ medium characters you can do dthrow-Bair and that will set them at the perfect percentage for the New-Haa. and on light characters, 0% is the best percent for the New-Haa and other combos like Uthrow-Dair.
