Is this related to food? Can I just pretend it is? Asian chicken is delicious. It’s your fault for making your first question about food, vanz.
They were all different kinds of soups :p

Oh god I loved Captain Underpants books as well

For some reason opening Youtube pages kills the current page I'm on so I'll have to listen to your music later.

Spaghetti. I c wat u did thar

Aww shucks at me being good :)

Rockin walks up to a bar tender. Not sure if this is the joke?

Like I said before, there isn't anything special I do as scum. I just emulate what I would do as town. There is nothing to it.
As someone who has complemented your scum game before, I want to say that you're underselling the ability to emulate your Town game as scum. It does sound like a simple thing when you put it like that, but it is a crucial part of playing scum in general, maybe the most important aspect.

Other than that, good read!

Your ability to be obv town along with your willingness to posts. I love anyone who is active.
Gotcha. I love being obv town. :bee:

Your scumgame. Step it up, son!
:awesome: I'll try

I think you have a way of keeping your head cool under pressure and putting a ton of effort into games. You have a back that doesn't break as easily compared to other players.
*back cracks* OWWW. Yeah, I'm just naturally calm all the time. Am I yelling at someone? Lol, If you heard me irl I wouldn't be yelling. I can't get mad. Sometimes I get like this:

when I see something that just irritates me (like my strongest scumread doing something to discredit my strongest town read, I then just support my town read in that moment) So because of things like that, I probably get into it a little emotionally charged, but really all that does is charge me up to make a big push or something and just give me ENERGY. I try to be as calm and emotionless as possible... Not that helps relationship wise. :c

I think you need to work on making your posts meaningful. I think you post with reason and I think they're not bad, but they're just so shut down by other players. Make your voice more heard. I think you could go far if you got people to listen to you and you learned to command players. That doesn't mean become a dictator about it either, work with others.
Alright, thanks. I think I know what I have to do to get people to listen to me, but that's the hard part. I really have to understand more than I do right now... I think my problem is that I'm very bad at reads, see: Mass effect mafia. I have to get better at those so people can see that I can be better at reads, and maybe people will listen to me more. But currently, I think I can do good with someone that has much better reads than me in a hydra.

Seems like a loaded question. I want your opinion of what you think of me. I think you get my intentions wrong sometimes but I think you're still left out in the cold about some things about me.
I think you are a good player, better than me even. I really like playing with you because once you can see that I'm town and I see that you are town, we can **** scum up like in Necromafia. I feel that when it's just you and me, I think you get a little paranoid with me if I direct all my buddying to you. (the newbie) That right there, I couldn't fully explain my super strong town read on you. You were just doing things quicker than I could even get to them... And I just liked what you said, saying "Acro I don't like that you did this blah blah blah" before my scumread formed or was getting stronger on Acro. Stuff like that. :bee: That was fun though, obv I was the one buddying and just not being as obv town because you were already obv town, so I was just being your wing man I guess? xD You know? Also, I was playing the way I was because I was also being an IC. Maybe you just didn't like my more passive "let the newbies do stuff" first thing. Anyways, At times I go "Omg soup is probably scum" but realize it's just you being caught up with something you feel is scummy or just can't get through your head (early Necromafia).

Would like to know what intentions I got wrong, so I can NOT be out in the cold about ya.

Refer to what I like about you and what I think your strengths are.
K then.

I wouldn't say. My read has been pretty damn consistent on you lately but I think that will change once you get out of your comfort zone. You're still playing at idealist levels and you need to start playing for yourself. I think that's something I wanted to add in one of your other previous questions. Make your posts meaningful to others and yourself. You seem like a robot sometimes.
A robot huh? Give me an example. If you can.

Chicken Noodle.
Good, cuz that's my favorite. :D

Honey Nut Cheerios.
I don't know...I love cereal...
Me too! :D

It was a learning process and the best teacher is experience.
And a willingness to be challenged. I never improved as a player until Ryker got back into the game. He and Acidho then proceeded to rip the **** out of me game after game after game until I grew a backbone and a brain.

Scum doesn’t lynch themselves.
lol yes they do you can't lynch scum without them ****ing up

but seriously, you're right

I honestly only do this in dire straits and I like being more passive, asking questions and just doing my own thing.
Welcome to my world. I just package it in anger and f-bombs.

****, Godspeed you! Black Emperor is on my list of bands to hear and I completely forgot about them. Thank you for reminding me.

The people who think wasting 10 days to do nothing is a good idea. I remember when days went straight to deadline, and they still do. Just lynch someone, please.
AKA why i hate endgame and why *******s need not to stall out the game.

Good taste in music. I honestly put it pretty high up there. I can't stand Dubstep.
Other than the whole dubstep thing, I sadly agree with this. It feels bad too, but if she can't stand stuff like 65daysofstatic or This Will Destroy You, she ain't gonna much like me.

Gonna be listening to your music choices at a time that is not so early in the morning.

and don't even mention Ragnarock. I don't even know what I was thinking.
You enjoyed making sending you PMs the biggest hassle ever. :r

that r should be backwards by the way.

We agree on reads easily and understand each others' thought process. Our style is slightly different but is balanced on that factor above.
this explains everything

I shoot July as I simply cannot read her and her walls scare me. They're written so damn well and I just can't shake them. I would end her before she ended me.
The flowchart to July's alignment:

Is Laundry in a game with her?
-Y: Scum
-N: Town

It is now against the law to listen to or to make dubstep music.
...****

See, I enjoy some of it because I like seeing people take something and warp it so much while still trying to retain its musicality. It's really challenging and really interesting. Done badly, yeh, then it's just wrecking your eardrums for no reason. Done right? It's cool, and it's fun to dance to.

I'm sorry, two close friends from college did it...

Oh yeah, Michigan tip to avoid places like Rockford, they're all a bunch of rich snobs.
Oh gog I have a funny story involving Rockford's CC team.

But I'd enjoy the beauty of the UP if I could ever get up there. I dunno if I'd stay for life but man, Houghton has to be a beautiful city.

I need to meet up with Washed eventually. I think it would be pretty easy. I'm not bad at conversating and I already know him well enough. We're relatable being hipsters anyways.
You can't drive, can ya? I'll try to work my *** out there some day. Maybe I'll drag ya out to ArtPrize if that's going on at some point next year, I've been meaning to go out and see that myself.

Hell, you, me, Circus. Michibro Adventure.

Washed, I was reading your old interview and I compared it to mine.

Are you me? Are you my lost brother?
I am everyone's lost brother. But most importantly, I am still you. We've established this already, remember?

blargh.

great read, yu yu ftw/ i owned all the cpt underpants books and read them on car rides.

Sorry to hear that things have only gotten worse soup, but i'm sure with your work ethic you'll be able to not only get yourself out of your house, but help your mom too :).

Here's to hoping that it gets turned around for you , and double that for hopefully being able to spend some more quality time with your dad

Can't breathe, but the view is equal to the taste
Great interview, especially the parts where I'm a good host, an enigma, and a wonderful lover.

In all seriousness, I should've asked you questions. Good read, you have good taste in things etc. And I wish we talked more. It's been good seeing you learn and grow in mafia, rising up to the heights of Decisive Mountain.

(It's all downhill from here)

But alright

Rate me as a mafia player. Go ahead, do it.

Recommend me a new band that you think I haven't heard.

What'd you think of the Battle Network series? I'd ask you about its successor but **** that noise.

Also have you tried Megaman ZX?

Remember when we tried to hydra? Can we do that again but on a site that's not inactive/stupid/inexperienced/new?

Have you ever tried playing an instrument?

Have you ever considered working on art as a way to pass the time? There's a billion things you could do.

Find any good images lately?

What value do you hold highest?

There!

soup I told you to wait now the interview is pretty scattered

I mean it's fine for this time but I rather not this thread divulge into such a chaotic way of posting.

"I don't think anyone could replace Yorke. I think Radiohead would have to stop making music as Yorke basically makes the whole band."

You know Johnny Greenwood's a genius though, right?

Johnny's great, I just don't think he could make it work without Yorke.

Rate me as a mafia player. Go ahead, do it.
You're probably one of my favorite players on the site. I think you're a really good mafia player who has played enough games to get at the amount of rage posting .gifs that you have done before. I like your style most importantly and I think you can balance that however, you never get too mad.

Recommend me a new band that you think I haven't heard.
Hmmm. Ever heard of This band? (bonus song in case you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxFbl6fMErg) I couldn't post the exact band name sadly. I like the music that you posted in your interview, especially Dispatch. Modest Mouse is great too. This is my favorite song by them. Oh yeah, big shout-out to getting me into Baths, Cerulean is fantastic.

What'd you think of the Battle Network series? I'd ask you about its successor but **** that noise.
I liked it. I haven't fully played it but I should eventually.

Also have you tried Megaman ZX?
I haven't. Is it any good?

Remember when we tried to hydra? Can we do that again but on a site that's not inactive/stupid/inexperienced/new?
Yeh. Let me know which game and I'll make it happen. Ryker wants to Hydra too.

Have you ever tried playing an instrument?
Yeah. I got a Guitar back at home and I had to quit my lessons because we didn't have enough money and my stepdad didn't really approve of it. I want to pick it up again and get into it. I might try and learn by myself. You're in a band, right? Perhaps you could help me.

Have you ever considered working on art as a way to pass the time? There's a billion things you could do.
Definitely. I'm not a fantastic drawer but I want to learn. I thought about making a deviantart for the art I have made at skills. You know where KCTC is? That's where I'm at currently. Working with adobe illustrator is a pain.

Find any good images lately?

What value do you hold highest?
Integrity and respect for yourself. I can't stand people who beat themselves up and then do absolutely nothing about it. Quit being sorry for yourself, it doesn't make anything better. I say this as a person who was like that before too, so if anyone gets offended, I have been through it.

ZX was really enjoyable. It's not the Zero series but it's pretty cool in its own regard. Playing as some of the villains from the Zero series was a hell of a lot of fun.

I've heard of Star****er ironically but that's still a good song and they're still a good band.

And I don't really know how to play the guitar! But there are plenty of self-help guides online if you want to learn. Learn all of the chords first before you get into the joyous picking parts.

I could try and teach you how to play guitar. The only problem is that I'd probably start by asking you "What do you want to learn on guitar?" and try and go from there.

Learning for specific songs isn't going to teach you how to play guitar, it's going to teach you how to play those songs. There's a difference.

9/10 if you ask someone what they want to learn, it's either going to be a song or two or the very vague "how to play this well"
The thing is, I don't exactly have anything to go off of for lessons, so there's not much I could do. My very first guitar teacher was all theory, and I hated it (I almost quit guitar because of it) so I probably wouldn't start with an approach like that.

Hell, if they ask you a song, you could probably teach them something based on that song. "Here's in the aeroplane over the sea. Because it uses Em, G, and D, it's in the key of G major (or E minor)..." and go from there

I know the chords and I know the basics, but I haven't gotten to the part of learning a song actually. It's been a long time though and I probably don't remember anything, which is sad to think about. What's so bad about learning by song?

I need to commit to a self-help guide.

Washed, I was reading your old interview and I compared it to mine.

Are you me? Are you my lost brother?
You know, I've always thought of you and Washed as very similar in my head. Back before I knew you both better, I used to get you two confused. :urg:

Really enjoyable interview. BSL's response to it is just as good.

physically shuddered when I read this. You call it pop? Really?

I like all of the nominees...blargh.

Vote: Nabe because a certain game that hasn't finished yet is pretty cool.
