Now when I say desperate, I mean DESPERATE. My name is Ares, im a fox player from florida, and have won a total of 2 matches in my entire career. ( im only counting tournaments. ) I have excellent Tech skill DI ect... But my mindgames are close to none. You know who im talking about? The faster foxs who scare you at first but are just to predicable. Now I am BEGGING you, please just put down some mindgames for me. This would help me out ALOT.

Umm, run toward your opponent and wavedash backwards when you see him about to attack. Then attack his lag. If he doesn't respond accordingly you may punish him for it as you see fit.

Dashdancing and fox trotting works well, use that. I can't tell you that much, mindgames is something you have to develop on your on. You can train it by thinking how to fool your opponent in making mistakes in matches. Just think mindgames and you will get better.

It'd be better if you told us how your opponent plays.

Mindgames are essentially the clever manipulation of time and space (or tempo and spacing in the game). Like my friend always says, Einstein would have loved smash bros. Black hole glitches...lags your cube, pretty close to time dilation. "Space-time continuum spiked *****!"

You can't really teach people mindgames. People normally develop their own "mindgames".
It's basically manipulating your opponent to move where you want and punishing that.

It's sort of getting repetitive. But you really need to come up with your own stuff bro. Just watch how your opponents play. Learn their styles, take advantage of their weaknesses. In time you will understand this.

you can't post "mindgames" (a meaningless term), you've just got to think while playing its the hard part of the game, and it's just something you'll have to learn w/ experience.

I just push as many buttons as I can as fast as I can and sometimes I get mindgamaes sometimes not. It can be tricky. I hope in brawl they make mindgames easier.

you really cant list mindgames. mindgames come from playing a variety of experienced and nonexperienced players and picking up on common tendencies. you ever notice how pro players will miss some tech chases in the beginning of a match, even if you suck? its because there getting used to you, and then your ****ed pretty much in future matches, lol.

just keep playing a variety of people. thats the key. tech skill with fox though does keep you in a lot of matches. thats the advantage of top tier, lol
