Boldore

Very resilient, Boldore can't be KO'd with just one attack, even if the attack's damage output is very high; this would reference the Sturdy ability. Boldore attacks by using Smack Down, which has Meteor Smash properties.

Deku Baba: Burrows out from the ground as the player comes near and will begin trying to chomp furiously. It is rooted to the ground and cannot move, so it can be easily dispatched with projectiles.

Pidgit: Flies around on its magic carpet and tries to swoop down to hit the player. When finally taken out, the carpet can be temporarily ridden.

Grock: A walking rock monster that takes many hits to destroy, but can yield lots of power-ups upon falling. It's main method of attacking is to charge forward and bite the player.

  • The Koopa Troopas have to be in there in at least two colors. Biddybuds would be cute
  • Topi can join the Polar Bear. Maybe both the seal and yeti versions can coexist!
  • Octoroks, ReDeads and Like Likes can return. It would be a crime if the Darknut, Lizalfos and Deku Scrub weren't among the Zelda enemies.
  • Metroid needs its eponymous jellyfish, and Space Pirates too.
  • Kirby has a lot more to offer. Bronto Burt, Glunk, Cappy, Waddle Doo, Sir Kibble, Kabu, Broom Hatter... to name the usual bunch.
  • Chandelure was a seemingly arbitrary pick, so other Pokémon probably will be, too. Maybe some retired Poké Ball summons like Hitmonlee, Koffing, Scizor, and Wobbuffet.

Infantry & Tanks [Sans Orange Star] (Advance Wars)

It would be interesting to see the opposing nations as Smash Run enemies. Since Orange Star are supposed to be the "good guys" they don't appear in Smash Run. (They return as an assist maybe)

Still thinking about possible Golden Sun enemies, there's a lot to choose from.....

We've seen in Brawl that Sakurai isn't afraid to use assist trophies as single player enemies being the Hammer Bros, that said I want to see Metroids as enemies.

Also I'd love to see Slicers from Sonic 2 but I'd like them to function how they did in Sonic 4 Episode 1 where after they throw their blades at you they self destruct, only in Smash Run the explosion can actually hurt you.

(I'll add picks in a bit, I'm using my Wii-U's browser at the time of this post.)

Metroids: These guys fly around and attach themselves to the player. They take a lot of damage to kill. However, ice based attack deal massive damage to them.

Name: Diamond Golem
Series: Find Mii
Will charge and attack players. It's shiny surface will reflect all projectiles.

Name: Starfish
Series: Super Princess Peach
A rare enemy that is pretty weak but still tries hard to attack the player. When you defeat this enemy it will only drop a trophy.

Name: Lizalfos
Series: Zelda
It will block incoming melee attacks but leaves it's self open when in taunts the player.

Name: Redead
Series: Zelda
Works like it dose in Melee except now it comes equipped with a high pitch screech that will stun the player.

Name: Condor
Series: Ice Climbers
An annoying enemy that will pick up the player for a few moments and drop them randomly (player can shake themselves out).

Name: Mecha-Turtle
Series: Mother
When you are behind this enemy it will fire missiles and bullets wildly at the player. You can only attack him from the front.
Finally, a Find Mii enemy. I thought I was the only one with ideas on that. But I REALLY don't wanna kill what is obviously Starfy.

Name: Resetii
Series: Animal Crossing
Covers screen with text, may throw pickaxe at you, even make screen go dark and make 3DS turn off for 1-2 seconds if corresponding with diolouge. ["You want me to reset on you, huh?"] But works like game and you go back right where you where. High ex, takes like 30 seconds to beat, but releases tons of items. One per Smash Run.
Ridley

Name: Poe
Series: Legend of Zelda
Spin lanterns to attack, may dissapear randomly and appear somewhere on screen. Can throw fire balls, and may sacrifice selves to reverse controls for 10 seconds.

Magon: These guys will swipe their claws at you. They can also be picked up and tossed directly in front of you to damage other enemies. (Wario World)

Big Eye: These guys take a lot of damage to kill and will jump on the player as their main form of attack. (Megaman)

Telly: These guys will endlessly spawn and will attempt to overwhelm the player with their massive numbers. (Megaman)

Some enemies I can attempt to come up with:

Name: Malamar
Series: Pokemon X and Y
Uses "Hypnosis" to stun the player (probably similar to Jigglypuff's Sing attack)

Name: Risen
Series: Fire Emblem Awakening
Will attack and grip hold on the player for a few seconds

Motobug (Sonic series)

The most basic enemy in the series. Runs back and forth, and tries to ram into you if you get close. One attack will take him out.

Whacka

Super Mario Bros.
A relatively harmless enemy, the Whacka would only be able to damage players if they happened to be near it when it pops out of the ground. It attacked it drops an edible Whacka Bump, which can be used to heal 50%
This foe rarely appears and is never seen on floating platforms. They can only spawn in areas with solid ground beneath them.

Ultimate Chimera
MOTHER / Earthbound

A very deadly enemy, the Ultimate Chimera acts much like it did in Brawl, but it works a little bit differently now. Upon seeing a player, it will be dead set on taking a juicy bite of said fighter. A little marker will appear above the fighter's head so you know you've been targeted. The UC is fairly quick as well, so trying to outrun it won't work. You only four options in this situation.
1) Try to get the UC to fall off the stage [It does have multiple small jumps, so try to get up into higher areas or travel through long abysses].
2) Attack an opponent, which will cause the UC to target the person you've essentially marked [A main reason why the marker appears overhead in the first place].
3) Attempt to defeat the UC by attacking the button it's back [No, projectiles don't work. Be mindful that being near the UC will make it automatically turn around and attempt to bite you, so you'll have to be quick!].
4) Just suicide, because you know you can't defeat it [The sad truth for Mega Man].

If you're bitten... Well you probably knows what would happen next. Can appear pretty much everywhere in Smash Run, sometimes in areas you wouldn't expect to see it in! It rarely appears, so seeing one would certainly be an unfortunate surprise.

Floats around shooting in multiple directions (I guess a little more like in Generations.)

Name: Mini-Kraid
Series: Metroid

Spits dirt from its mouth and spikes from its belly.

Name: Armored Demon
Series: Find Mii

Weapons doubles as either a spear or an axe, has some fairly high stamina against melee attacks.

Yakuza - Takeshi's Challenge (The guys with blue Kimonos)
The Yakuzas spawn randomly and they teleport towards the player, punching them and dealing decent knockback.

Chum Chucker Charlie - DKC: Tropical Freeze
The Chum Chucker Charlie chucks chums at you :troll:

Mii: These guys will spawn and be designed off of Miis saved to your console. They will attack you with kendo sticks, boxing punches, and even ride cows that will charge the player. (Wii series/Find Mii/Tomodachi Life)

Klefki
Series: Pokemon
Klefki uses Fairy Lock on the opponents, causing them to be unable to jump for a limited time. Klefki produces an ethereal padlock over the foe, then dances around them while jingling his keys. Jingle jingle.

Archer
Series: Fire Emblem
These familiar foes attack from a distance, slowly sniping away your damage percent. They are powerless up close, however.

Bee
Series: Ice Climber
These creatures are incredibly obscure. They only appear in certain levels of VS Ice Climber (the arcade version). As enemies, they swoop down and charge at you with their spears. They attack in swarms.

Cornimer Toy (Animal Crossing: New Leaf) Couldn't find a good standalone picture. :/

Rolls in one direction while hissing and whirring. When it bumps into another object, it switches directions. When attacked, it comedically flips on its head, when you can pick it up. You can throw it and it will speed in its direction, bumping back and forth with increased speed until it explodes after enough hits. Will drops a large stat patch or two when killed.

EDIT: Damnit, didn't know it had a 1st page entry! Oh well, we wrote how they function differently.

I'd like to see some enemies borrow elements from others, like have Goombas who carry around the Met's hard hats or have a Kremling style Stalfos, but what I'd really like to see come out of this idea is a Lakitu that throws down Mets instead of Spineys.

ODAMA! - A giant stone ball will roll across the screen and will plow through EVERYTHING in it's way! It can't be destroyed. Only avoided.

Name: Antasma
Origin: Mario and Luigi: Dream Team

Could be a random mini boss/boss in Smash Run. When encountered, he changes the area of the stage into a nightmare scene (kind of like from Dream Team's final battle with him) and you're force to fight him. Just like in DT, if he hits you too much you will (shortly) fall asleep, causing you to lose your power ups by the second. You must press "A" quickly to wake up and avoid losing all your power ups/taking more damage.

Mole (Game & Watch): These things will spring from the ground and hurt the player via touch. They appear very randomly and their damage is varies from attacks. (Could be low or high)

Lion (Game & Watch): Like the Mole the lion will appear randomly and pounce on the player.

Name: Mecha-Koopa
Series: Mario (Mushroom)
Damage-To-Kill: 35%, 2 Jumps or some sort of Ground-Pound move (Yoshi's/Bowser's VB, Link's, Tink's, Greninja's & Mega Man's VAir, Sonic's Neutral B, ect.)
These little Wind-Up Robots walk around casually, one foot infront of the other, and when you get in their vision, they chase you at a fair-medium speed, then when at a certain range, they charge up and do a slightly weaker version of Bowser's Fire Breath (non-customized Neutral B ), being Multi-hit and does about 1-5% per hit, the closer you are, the more damage it does.

After seeing all the crap and stuff from e3, the team really has great ideas for enemies, we have ghosts from rhythm heaven, yellow shield ghosts from Find Mii, metroids, etc.

Yea there are alot of interesting ones now like the various Forces of Nature form KI:U, More of the subspace army, the Iridescent Glint Beetle from Pikmin, more pokemon like Gastly and Petilil, Banzi Bill and Buller Bill Blasters, etc.

However I still find the lack of koopa troopas disterbing

Edit: I found out that Redeads are in and they have a screech that stuns players

Name: Redead
Series: Zelda

Totally called it B3
