Deoxys at Gamestop

I'm sure you've all heard it, but for those who haven't, just thought I'd throw this up here to let those people know.

Deoxys will be available to download at Gamestop (in America) on the weekend of June 20th and June 27th.

It holds the item Nevermeltice and has the attacks Psycho Boost, Zap Cannon, ExtremeSpeed and Iron Defense.

So go out there and get a free Deoxys! ^_^

Yeah, I fully intend to go to this event. Now I can get a legit Deoxys that I didn't get in a trade! The best part is it's on two weekends, so you've got 4 days total to get to the event if you can't make it one or two days.

I'll have to get one for Diamond and one for Pearl, like I did with Darkrai. I love having both versions.

I actually sold my DS not too long ago. Wish I hadn't... I never liked trading on GTS for ubers, so I always went out to the events to get them - haha.

I dislike trading for Pokemon, but the Darkrai I got however long ago was the first Legit Event Pokemon I've gotten myself, so I wasn't expecting to ever get one. Clearly, I was wrong in expecting that, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I can always just trade away the Deoxys's I got and keep the legit ones. (I got four Deoxys'; one for each form)

It will be available both weekends? Good, I can't go on the 27th.

Just like Firus, I can get a legit Deoxys. Of coarse, I can always get one using my brothers AR, but I can just get it this way.

I'm going to guess it's 1 per game. I think it saves data that says "This game already received this Pokemon" so you can't get it more than once per game, and honestly, if you spent the extra $30 to get a second game, they can't really tell you that you're not allowed to get it twice. Plus you can just say you're getting it for a friend.

So yeah, I'm going to take a guess and say 1 per game.

Its one per game. The game wont allow another download. To get more you need at least two carts, one to get it and trade to the other cart, then restart the game and get it again.

No, 3rd Gen, not Platinum.

And I'm going to guess no. They probably have a wireless thing set up so you just download it to your game, meaning 3rd gen wouldn't be compatible.

opps, ya but I dont think it will be for 3rd gen as the picture on serebii showed a D/P deoxys.
Plus serebii said it would no psycho boost or something which isnt even a move in 3rd gen.

1. You, I believe, get it in normal form. from the pictures I have seen it seems that way. Im guessing you know where to transform deoxys (veilstone meteorites).
2.Just bring your DS and the'll send it to your game. They will explain where you'll find your deoxys (like in your box or something).There's no test or anything.

Darkrai was given out at TRU a few weeks ago because of the Pokemon movie - the Roar of Time/Spacial Rend one.

Wait, from trading at ALL, or just the GTS? I thought it was just the GTS, but come to think of it, I think I just assumed that. That's really stupid if it's in general. What's the point of that? I mean, with the GTS there's the obvious duplication trick, but...

Come to think of it, I wonder if they'll remove the duplication trick in Platinum. Probably will.

In any case, I didn't get a chance to get out this past weekend to get it, so I'm going to drop by on Saturday and pick one up. Well, two. (One for Diamond + one for Pearl)

Yeah, the event data was leaked. You load it into an R4 and you can generate as many event Darkrai/ Deoxys (I forget which) as you'd like.

There have been some experiments in trying to get the data to generate any Pokemon.
