Yes! Great! This actually shows us the Character selection screen with the Demo Roster. Too bad Snake issn't up there, but Mario and Sonic do the trick for me!

Awesome find!

Yeah the demo roster looks awesome.
Wonder if it's the same roster that'll be at the E for All tournament.

I'm kinda surprised the menu layout isn't in that white wii menu-ish layout that every other menu in the dojo site is ini.

The roster looks like
Mario / Donkey Kong / Link / Samus / Fox / Pikachu
Diddy Kong / Pit / Meta Knight / Ike / Peach / Yoshi
Sonic / Bowser / Random?

Couple of people are missing.
Kirby, Ice Climbers, and Zelda are missing from the veterans.
Snake, Wario, Zero Suit Samus, Pokemon Trainer, and Lucas aren't on the roster either.

Lol I know it's an obvious point out but it's just a list to look at.

I wouldn't get the point in making a different roster for that Tournament.
I think this is the exact demo, and the press can play the game early.

Expect your wave dashy goodness to explode the internet soon!

OH SHI-

Did you guys notice that the guy who's playing the Brawl demo is using the Wiimote? I guess the people testing the demo won't be able to figure out if there's WaveDashing...

Man, why would Nintendo make you play with the Wiimote? Throw a 'Bird in the Wii.

So long as they can jump and airdodge, they should be able to Wavedash. I don't think the Wiimote will have controls THAT incomplete.

yeah I see gesture-based control at a bare minimum for this game. The wiimote/nunchuck combo have enough buttons to accomodate a predominantly button-controled smash experience. At the very least, motion won't be used for air dodging or movement, so they can still test for WDing

ZOMG LUCAS AERIAL! I don't even know what that weird PSI animation is, but it's so exciting to see Lucas in action. =)

I don't understand why people aren't going crazy over this news! Dude, that picture means that a PUBLIC AUDIENCE has played Brawl! Why aren't we trying to track these people down to find out more about the actual game?

Does anyone know what event Brawl was played at, and if any American reviewers or anything went to it? Need moar info!

Hmm... I wonder if they've added all of the copyrights to that one picture... because if they did, that would mean that Capcom isn't copyrighted... which means no Megaman. Or they might know that we'd be looking at it too hard. lol.

Also that would mean no SquareEnix... and, well, you know what that means.

Someone zoom in and improve clarity. That can't be Zelda.

Yeah, it's making me angry knowing that people have played the game and still we know nothing about Wavedashing, L-canceling, ect.

At least you get to play it - here I am, stuck in Indiana. Hey Phoenix, will you pick me up? XD
If I had the money, I would allow everyone here on Smashboards t come to E for All and play the demo. Probably a transport via bus. I do feel very lucky for this though, so I will atleast provide info on the game play and the tournaments that Nintendo is hosting, but it'll have to wait until I get back from the expo (No laptop).

I hope that helps.

Is there a Japanese equivalent site to Smashboards? Just thinking if there's any place that might have more info about the demo.
