IS there someway that hackers could connect us to the internet via a different server, hopefully eliminating most lag? Sorry if there's a thread on this, I searched and couldn't find anything.

SCOTU suggested that a code could be made to lower lag. (This sounds unreasonable, but if you read his post in the thread of reverse engineering wifi, it sounds plausible.)

i heard in the smyn podcast that someone found out that the system uses a MINIMUM of 6 frames lag. if we can change that it would be more than sufficient to make online a lot less laggy

1: the webserver would only be for matchmaking, so it couldn't reduce lag.
2: the lag isn't due to bad connections, it's due to a ****ty call on someone's part on nintendo.
3: the minimum input delay estimate is more accurately 10Frames. the 6 frame previous estimate was a 6 frame NTSC 29.97fps frame count (meaning 12F).
4: it might be possible to make an ocarina code to change that minimum to something lower (if both parties used it).
