Why don't you just CC grab? Foxes like cactuar and jman get away from nair spamming the **** out of falcon players, and they dont even bother trying something new.

Seriously, I'm tired of people getting away with using bad strategies and not being punished. CC>Fox/Falco nair. Use it!

CC grab is fast enough to grab fox before the shine comes out because of how high the nair hits your body.

and yes it works with DK, Bum used to do it constantly.

Low Nair and overshooting counter this entirely. It also has two flaws you don't recognize, which are

Falcon's grab range =/= Marth grab range.

Falcon's grab =/= Peach D-smash speed.

You can sometimes get lucky with a hitbox grab (Falcon grab hitbox is so close to his body) if they try to overshoot, but beyond that Falcon's grab range is bad.

yeah, foxes around Bum's time didn't really know about this ****. it doesn't work so much anymore, because shffl'd nairs are usually delayed because of how much Falcon/DK/a lot of chars rely on grabs vs. spacies.

CC->forward roll is a more viable option out of nair spam than grab is imo. Used sparingly of course.

i cc fox's nair most of the time i get hit by it if i can but generally with falcon you can avoid getting hit

if falcon gets hit by fox's nair usually fox beat one of your aerials or caught you out of a dashdance or jump or something, all of which you cant cc during

plus yeah as kirbykaze said, a lot of time you wont be in range to land the grab afterwards, i usually just cc shield or roll just to avoid a combo

and about falco, dont bet on cc working wonders because it wont help vs dair, which theyll use in pretty much every situation where it would be a good idea to cc vs him

You can CC during DDing. It's pretty much the only thing europhoria does with every character.

Falcon's CC sucks comparatively to the high / top tier characters. You can do CC -> falcon kick sometimes and catch them off guard. Raptor boost is much more punishable, but it may dodge a move randomly like falcon kick. CC -> grab may work, but not consistently enough to be worth using. His other moves are too slow to CC into something.




Also, off topic: Big D, do you remember me from ROM? We did that friendly match with reno and eggm.

We on the opposite end of the enterance at the table in the middle of the room. We played a bunch of friendlies. Them eggm wanted to warm up, so he did 1 teams friendly with reno. We won the match, then they left. I though you were some random, but I remembered that you were Big D later on.

At georgia, what pool did we play in? Was it round 2 with M2K and DJ nintendo? Or was it round 1 with all the random players?

I also remember the teams set at ROM. You used sheik IIRC. You also played KK first round at ROM right?

- Oh ****, no offense, but that was the easiest pool I ever had in a US tourney. You were falcon?

- I lost 1 game to carter though in that pool, then 4-stocked him on FD. His family was cheering for him. It was cute.

I CC out of Dash Dance alot? Maybe, but I don't think I do with Falcon... I mostly just shield now with whoever because late n-air/d-air beat the CC and most people tend to approach with that stuff more now anyways.

Dash dancing or retreating back airs are the best way to counter nairs.

uhh well spaced nairs are about the only way to beat Fox's nair. dashdancing can work if they **** up their execution but that's about it.
