I wouldn't be surprised at all if lots of people already know about this due to the countless threads the marth board has lol, I don't see a thread about this so I may aswell post it.

I was playing my friend earlier, and I ended up locking him on the edge at an angle with dancing blade. I pressed down on the 3rd hit of dancing blade, hit him at an angle and it sent him downwards enough so that he couldn't recover(he was playing at Peach and he was at 110% or so). I tested it out in training mode and if hit at an angle it works, doesn't spike enough to kill at lower %s but it does at higher %s depending on the character. It may not be too useful though seeing as I found it pretty hard to get them in the right position for it anyway. Just thought I'd share that, sorry if you guys already know about it or if you just deem it useless.

It was a meteor spike in Melee, it was a blue hit.
It's not powerful enough, to my knowledge, to be completely useful thanks to Brawl's ease of recovery from ANYWHERE and ******** "spike/meteor" physics.

But it was good of you to bring it up, I suppose.

Yea its known. The problem is they can always drop and Up B to autosweetspot. Ledge Invincibility frames leave you vulnerable too.

Ya it's known. Please use the quick question quick answer thread first if you're unsure if something is discovered yet. It helps to minimize the clutter. I think a thread about this came up about a month ago as well. But yes, it's been known for a good while now. And as stated above, it's kinda useless because the spike is so weak.
