Actually, it's a pretty good approach, for mindgames. Dash, duck, stab. Most people don't see it coming, and it opens up opportunities for, say, f-tilt.

I like it most for throwing dashing players off-guard, especially mortar sliding Snakes. It also works well as a semi-juggle when you're poking players off the edge at early percents.

Any other ways? I'm having a little trouble with incorporating it into my game, since it often takes me too long to do a d-tilt, and sometimes do a d-smash when I try to make up for the time. :/

Get creative. It's pretty fun to throw in when somebody *cough slow people cough* charges a smash. Plus, as a lot of us have seen, D-tilt to F-tilt speeds up the F-tilt. Somehow. I don't get it, but I've seen it. Can't manage to do it, though.

For shield pressure in general.

I use it to stab shields granted I am properly spaced.

There isn't much your opponent can do. They usually have to roll away or something like that. You can also shield stab someone because it hits pretty low.
