Custom Music??!? Is this madness...no this is BRAWL!

I just had a thought...what if we have music on our SD card for our wii...could that perhaps mean we could have our own custom music for the stage creator?? That would be soooo cool if this was true!!


I'd rock with some underOATH and Dance Gavin Dance, oh and Gorillaz ofcourse:)


Even if it doesn't seem likely..discuss what songs you'd play and what kind of stages you'd build with the music.

EDIT!:No hating on the thought all right? It was just a random moment of excitement on my part and I thought it might be fun thats all..No saying this is pointless or anything like that it was just an idea..just like the hopes of people having there favorite character in Brawl...theres no need to hate on people for just having fun..you guys need to lighten up..whatever happened to Smash Brothers being fun anymore...I'm not trying to be a fake profit, it was just a cool idea in my opinion...


EDIT!!:I understand that the idea has a ton of loopholes to it IE 13 year old kids at tourneys...blah blah blah..no negative..but the positive

If you want to hear certain music while you play Brawl, use an Ipod.

This game is wacky as all hell so it deserves some wacky music.

I'd pop in some Weird Al tracks, most likely "Albuquerque". And play it on a flat stage made in stage builder with all items on to **** with my Torny Happy friend's minds.

There are some songs like Dangerous Ground, What I'm Made Of, Open Your Heart, Watch Me Fly, Into The Wind, and whatnot, that are good to listen to. OH! And His World, the Crush 40 version~ :3

Sakurai never deconfirmed this, but it's probably not happening. I would love to play brawl why Crank Dat was playing though (I truly despise this song, but it would be funny to kill someone when they say YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!)

I'm just wondering what kinda stage Live And Learn would be on, but meh, not for this thread.

I'd put retro Sonic tracks in, from the 16-bit era. Chemical Plant Zone FTW!

Meaningless speculation? All speculation is pretty much meaningless on this board. The best use for custom music would be in Stage Creator.

There's no way there will be custom soundtracks. Why? The amount of music already in this game. It's meant to be there to well...satisfy you, do to lack of being able to add in what you want. That's why we have My Music. Heck, if you really want to, lower the volume (or just take away the BGM and leave the sounds) and play your music in the background. =/

I already have custom music for Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed... Because I play music on my computer, pump it up and play whatever console games.. Though it was nice to play music off the 360 because instead of getting up to change songs etc. you can just hit the guide button... and my 360 is hooked up to the surround sound..

But I guess it would be alright to implement, I would stick with the default music anyway.

Would be good if it happened, but it probably won't. Anyway, I would play some songs by Dragonforce in the background. But I could just use an mp3 player for that if it didn't work.

The big problem is that instead of listening to the music the game has to offer from a huge variety of artists (as in, people that were paid to make the music) people will put their favorite song from the radio (probably illegally downloaded) and play it in Brawl.

Therefore, custom music for a game with 20+ musicians is a no because they paid a lot of artists for a lot of songs, not one artist for a few songs in the game like many other games do. See the EA games for instance that allow custom soundtracks. They used high-priced licensed music for their soundtrack and yet enabled custom music, therefore making all their money they spent worthless, especially to me since I prefer listening to Infected Mushroom and IIDX songs over Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romanc.

When I first read this thread title, I assumed you meant taking the Brawl Sound Test and playing the Sounds over the songs available in your Brawl My Music collection, recording and able to play on your Custom Stages.

But...I'd put some NESKimos on my SD Card

I'd put on some Vivaldi. His oboe sonata's rock. Of course, I'd also find more awesome classical music.

I'd also put in the Smashing Live! CD, since it's soundtrack is superior to anything Brawl has out so far.

Well first I would restrict the songs to only VG Remixes or songs that didn't make into Brawl which I liked.
I would probably grab some music from overclocked.. newgrounds.. etc.
