Howdy boys. Been busy with school. Also, sorry @Facading I forgot to pass you those files :( I'll get on that asap.

In the mean time... I saw other people making Damage fonts and stuff. Had my hand at making a nice "standard" looking font, as well as creating a more unique and custom one.

OOPS! I forgot to change "Unknown 1 Pointer" value back to "00000000" inside the stage select USD for the flashing shine texture. I updated the download on Modulous to 1.1 with the fix. Otherwise just jump in DOL Manager and make the quick change yourself. It will crash on GCN/Wii without that change but worked fine in Dolphin so I forgot about having changed it.

So I downloaded the Falco Jabs CSP, and I wanted to copy that pose but with some other skins I have, so I followed the directions exactly as posted in the READme, but nothing happened. I had the same version of 20xx as asked for, I had the Gecko cheat in and selected, and I have set the three Memory codes exactly as given, I started a game with the Falco skins I wanted, and the game just kinda kept running as usual. I was wondering if there's some other step I'm missing to get everything right?

You have to pause it to where you can move the camera using the stick. Once the camera is free to be moved about then you can follow the instructions.

CoolJulian1204 CoolJulian1204 I don't know what that means but some other people have made other damage fonts and posted them in the Texture Hacks thread. Probably within the last 15 pages of the thread.

I'm trying to import the Shine Theme files using Manual Placement in DAT Texture Wizard, but when I click Write Textures Into DAT, it says
"Procedure complete! 1 image in the USD was overwritten.
However, the following images were not processed because proper offsets were not given or found."
It then lists everything in the CSS besides MnSlChr.usd_0x13880_0. Do I have to put the dimensions in the name of every file?

Don't use manual placement. Use the Dat Texture Tree. Also, some modifications were made to some of the hex properties for some stuff too. Mainly the shine stage selector. Importing the whole file is the best way.

Can you make one of those "Shots Fired" CSPs for this Fox skin?

https://www.mediafire.com/?t8jdzn6ss03czkn
I've been trying to but I'm having trouble making it look as clean as the other ones. My graphics settings might be too low but my laptop can't handle much more, or it's just because I'm kinda bad at using GIMP.

Sorry I've taken forever with this... for everyone who requested it, here is a zip to my photoshop files:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3aKqmojst2oeGJGaTliaXhBQWc

I think I've included most of them, if there is one that is missing just let me know and I'll throw them up too. Most of my images were saved in 1080p... so they should be higher resolution than the super lossy ones I used in the iso... then again at some point I sometimes resized them and then made modifications to the new photoshop file after it was resized so some of them might not be full size...

The plus side is this... most of the files were made using smart objects. That means that although I resized the size of the image, the original image is still there at full resolution. All you have to do is scale the document size back up to 1080p. The layer masks were mostly applied to the full size image so you won't even have to redo the masks. If you use the instructions included with my zips to take a print screen that matches the exact pose, just copy one of the existing smart object layers using the "New Smart Object Via Copy" and then just open it and paste your image in it, then you can either use the pre-existing mask if it works well, or just quickly create your own mask using the magic wand tool to cut out contiguous chunks of the background (which you made magenta using a code).

If you have any questions how to accomplish these modifications just ask. Don't ask me where to get a copy of photoshop however, I can't help you. I can tell you however they were made in Photoshop version CS6. Cheers.

I know you guys like your Fox CSPs and I didn't like the current pickings so....

:138: Acryte - CSP - Fox - Shots Fired! :138:

DL here:

In-game:

For those wishing to recreate:
This one is kinda particular. Instructions are included in the zip. For costumes I think are pretty sick that weren't included I'm willing to pump a few out, but only if provided a CSS usd with 4 good skins split between the default colors (not lat or rat) characters so I can do it easily in one go.

LIST OF CSPS THAT I'M CURRENTLY UNHAPPY WITH (I'M APPEASED BY THE OTHERS):
Pikachu, Mario, Luigi, Ness, Ganondorf, Link.
my laptop cant run melee on dolphin so i was wondering if you could make 2 more of the fox ones for these 2 skins

This one replaces fox's neutral (default) skin. I've uploaded it incase anyone else would like to use it. http://www.mediafire.com/download/d19qbb224b7aum7/PlFxNr_-_Greaser_Fox_Alternate.dat

Credit to Kitsune91 & VikingSteeez for the original "Greaser Fox" skin.

I can but I'll be making some more Icons for my new custom CSS to finish that before I start on CSPs for it.

Also your computer doesn't need to run the game at full speed or very well in order to just take printscreens from dolphin. I run it at 8x internal resolution and get like 15-20 fps but it doesn't really matter when all I need to do is take an ingame screenshot.

VERSION 2.0 IS HERE BOYS! Click on the picture to view it in fullsize... the actual images are quite sharp. Credits to Stache and his HD MOD for melee. I've included it in this release. I'm posting this here with the addition of full color icons for the CSS as well as numerous variations for the icon background color and border thickness. Border color variations may be added later. Next I'll add full grayed out icons.

PS: I'll be remaking the HD stock icons for the ones I don't like ie Marth.
Do you know how to replace stock icons? Or is it only possible through Dolphin? I have some png stock icons I would like to use that are 85% finished.

You can use the Dat Texture Wizard tool and find the file that has the stock icons in it and then just replace them individually. Extract them and then look at the dimensions of it, and then just save your other ones as PNG files and import them, replacing the old ones. If you want to use Dolphin instead you have to have it dump the textures... but that's really only worthwhile if your images are HD and you want to keep them at a higher resolution.

So I know you can find stock icons under MnSlChr.usd but when I replace them with the new icon in DAT it doesn't load the new icon in game and just stays with the old icon.

Sup everyone! I just threw together a Melee Ultimate Textures Pack. Still needs some revisions in the future to balance the color saturation and contrast but it looks pretty good for 4 days work :O

All character portraits have been modified from the Ultimate costumes to match the Melee costumes. Stock icons from Ultimate have also been modified to use Melee colors too. This incorporates parts of my Shine 2.0 and HD shield packs too.
