CSP issues

So I'm having tons of issues with CUPASH. Step 1 works fine, but when I run step two, many battle portraits give errors and crash the program. I used to be able to make battle portraits, but now I'm finding myself completely unable to make them. I've even tried just using a magenta square with black text and indexing it to like, 5 colors, and CUPASH's step two always crashes and closes itself upon trying to use that image.

I use GIMP for my CSPs, does anyone know what could possibly wrong or can link me to a guide that doesn't use photoshop for CSPs?

What errors? Did the program say anything?

No, it crashes. I've tried a number of times to screenshot the cmd window at the exact moment so I can see what happens right before, but no luck. No idea what's wrong with the image.

And I refuse to use that topic because there are way more questions than answers, not much ever gets done.

How big are your portraits? Big portraits must be 128x160 pixels in size. Small portraits must be 48x56 pixels in size.

I've done that right. I know exactly how to make the portraits, as I've explained already, I've made them before.
