just wondering if there are any obvious habits you guys are seeing that i'm not... also any effective techniques (other than pew pew pew) that i'm not taking advantage of

overall... Spawn... I love you for your music choice sooo much lol! And you punish the **** out of my mistakes so we definitely gotta play more so i can learn!!

Number one thing I noticed is you seem to get one tech skill~y thing stuck in your head at a time. Like against the Marth, first match, you dash at him, shine, waveshine out 3 or 4 times in a row. Or against Spawn's Sheik, I think match 3 but maybe match 2, you do a lot of wall jump -> air dodge to recover and Spawn pretty much predicts it perfectly. This comes up a lot of other times, as well (power shielding lasers, edge canceled side B's), so just remember to keep your options open because while having all that stuff down is nice it's really predictable once the opponent knows you can do it.

Other than that, it's tough to say. I feel like you don't grab nearly enough, maybe it's because it's friendlies, but standard uthrow combos help a lot. The best videos to comment on would be your ones against Sheik but... Fox vs Sheik is perhaps my worst matchup :| so I don't really know how to help. I just switch to Marth against her xD
