Directly above you tipping a dair.
First of all, nice sig. Where'd you get it? Anyway, on to advice. You should mix up your short hoop attacks. Use dancing blade and shieldbreaker. You can use a dancing blade poke in the air to stall for an opening when you are approaching then fair. Also, try edgehogging sheik sometimes, but be sure to aviod the teleport explosion. As for edgeguarding, try grabbing the ledge then letting go and bairing or poking with dancing blade.

You have a pretty nice marth. I might write up something more detailed later but....I really want to go to sleep so....

Dtilt for knocking away those pesky sheiks that aren't always approaching via air
Fast.
Reliable.
Short lag.
Nice range.
Stops rushing(Which sheiks seem to like to do...
Spammable.
Annoying as hell =].

Learn to use it
Learn to love it

Edit: also try using up+b as a killing move every so often. You hardly use it for anything but recovery so it almost always has great knockback.

only watched the first

dont use counter to the point of becoming stale

dont always double fair and land ahead of your shielding opponent. and if you do you can squeeze in a backair most of the time. at the end for the minute of 130%+ and above you were doing that and those fairs were not leaving you any shot at landing a tipped fair for a ko.

you can try fairing and DIing your last fair away from him so that either it hits and its a tip or it doesnt and chips at shield but you can get away quick enough to avoid real punishment. Do it long enough and you can threaten him with anattempted shieldbreakers which will in turn get him to change his approach most of the time (same with soemone with a nearly broken one), and since you need only one hit, making sheik fight an aerial battle with marth is a win win.

also

dsmash comes out pretty **** fast so thats always a great KO move if you're patient enough to find a sure moment for your opponent to mess up.

not bad but i think you should add more Originality instead of always trying to fair fair into a fsmash. Try some utils into usmash tippers and stuff.

Also i noticed you didnt use 1 throw through both matches. Try to chain some down throws into fairs fairs into fsmash tipper

One of the bigger problems I saw was you just became a little repetitive in your move selection. After a while I could predict what you were going to do. You also need to exploit opening that Shiek gave you a little better as you had full control and she was stuck in lag frames at spots.

Other than that you have good control on marth. Just need to work on the fine points.

Nice Marth. All I could say is try not to get stale with your moves.

Also, nice to see some good Marth players from Toronto :p

Canada, Ontario. I have a really good connection,
The sig: I made it myself a while back, couldn't use it with the low post count though.
Yeah, I tend to break under pressure and just start spamming the same tactics all over and over. I only lost really because I dropped my shield too early. Gah @ sheiks fsmash. I could have done dancing blade and killed him but I just couldn't think of it then. It was anyones game, someone had to mess up eventually right? We had one just like that before, except I finished it with my dancing blade.
Its ok, theres time to get better. I will implement more grabs, dancing blades, sheilding and up / down tilts. Thanks, and any more comments are appreciated.
